What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

After yet another hot and humid day here in the north east, I pulled out my summer trapper.

I imagine 440C makes a lot of sense in your part of the world!

Switched out the Bullnose for something with the same main but a little fancier

Bit disappointed that the pivots on my Cody scouts started to loosen off pretty quick. Big thank you to Kevin and Andi for giving me the confidence via their thread to have a go at sorting the pivots on both knives. I'm happy with the result of 20 minutes with a vice, hammer, some wet and dry and a loaded strop. Pleased I can repeat the process should it happen again.

On an Alox kick lately. Working in the yard and replacing a GFI so it is this one. Not sure if the Alox Vics stretch the definition of "traditional" though......

Not at all. I often have a Black Alox Farmer with me. Very traditional knives.

Aitor Castor Pequena and my Tidioute #66 Serpentine Jack today :)

Hi Kit, I also live in the UK and struggle to pay for expensive ( by the time it is in the hand ) USA imports, like you i was a Spyderco man but sold them all to feed the addiction to slippies, after a while i realised that i missed my Urban Foliage Green that i believe to be the ideal UK EDC it was by then rarer than hens teeth, i eventually traced a supply to Sears in America it was of course far more than i payed for the original by then, but i sold a few slippies to fund it and after it arrived i dyed the covers a pleasing Chocolate Brown making it less a foliage green and more an earth brown,of course i do not carry it but keep it in case the urge to revert to OHO comes over me again but i can not see that happening anytime soon as i am currently in the throes of GEC stag mania, because as you say they have soul.
Enjoy your new addiction, Regards Bob...

Hi Bob, the most frustrating part regarding imports at the moment, is that my sister is off to New York for ten weeks. She has steadfastly refused to let me buy from US sites and ship them to her. Would be great if she could just forward packages over here as gifts. But no such luck :(

This tiny trapper makes a perfect office edc. Wharnie for boxes and mail, clip point for fruit and sandwiches. High polish stainless cleans up nice and easy.
