What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Unfortunately I didn't take many pics, I think we were enjoying ourselves so much we didn't think about it. It's been too long since the wife and I got away.

But, there was one spot I couldn't resist..

This is the legendary Hat Man on the streets of Charleston. According to our Ghost Tour guide, Hat Man would slip down into the sewers when the street light illuminating his mural would flicker or fail, then sneak into houses and eat small children that would refuse to listen to their parents. 😂

Wow,
What a sh#tty job he has. Down in the sewers & nothing but kids to eat😢
Great picture though😎

A good night for owls…can’t wait to hear the real ones start calling. 😎👍View attachment 2249124
Hopefully the hooters serenade you tonight, Todd. We seldom have owls out back here in town but I spend a lot of time in the woods in fall and winter and hear them practically every evening at dusk. We do have a pair of Cooper hawks nesting in a tree two doors down and watched one chase down and catch a sparrow in our backyard a few days ago. Very acrobatic maneuvers were displayed by both the predator and prey.

Got this Klaas 4" closed stag whittler out for this evening and to carry tomorrow. Hummingbirds have been visiting the wife flowers this past week but I've been unable to capture a pic with my cellphone camera. Tiny little buggers and hard to approach. :)

Beautiful whittler Greg. All birds of prey are awesome. We have so many Barred Owls around here. I have video of one pouncing on a mouse just off our deck. Pretty cool.
😎👍

Fantastic pairing JJ, those two go well together :)
Thank you very much, Jack!!! :)
Summer seems to have sidled-off here for now  Carrying my Hartshead Barlow, and for Random Tuesday, a Solar Jack circa 1970

A very cool Two Jack Tuesday pairing with your wonderful HHB leading the pack; your Solar Jack is certainly an attractive rare bird I have not seen in the wild!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

In my frequent dafter moments, I sometimes think about getting a bike again. I haven't ridden one in 30 years, I doubt I'd last a day!
Jack, “Some people will tell you that slow is good-and it may be on some days-but I am here to tell you that fast is better. I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of tube. That’s why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba…”
HST. Ride hard die free! 😀
