Some of the newer models have "buck with an anvil" but not the knife cutting threw a bolt. Agree the 300 series still has this shield but not the newer models
It think it only applies to those on vacation or retiredIs "Happy Monday" an oxymoron?
Good morning, folks.

Hmmmmmmmm.Or is it a rhetorical question?

#72 today Tomorrow is trash day so I’m putting the can on the street tonight; thought you all might enjoy seeing it. Plus I put a new bungee cord on it to keep the lid on.

To paraphrase the old blues song, If it wasn’t for fake stag, I wouldn’t have no stag at all.
Real nice, Steve!
For a rainy Monday morning.![]()

Was Jack's down in the town square by the courthouse and such? I might have a fuzzy memory, but Wallyworld opened up when I was 5 or 6, it put a lot of the small local businesses under. But it was nice to not have to order everything from Sears and Schwann's anymore. I have an oft-told story about waiting in the checkout line there with my mom, and saying very loudly (so the whole store could hear) "Mommy, look! That man's picking his nose!", and pointing. Indeed, dozens of people caught him two knuckles deepUntil they built the big WalMart up on 54, Jacks was it.
I loved that place. Fishing tackle, guns, archery tackle, awesome mounts on the walls, live minnows, and all the news about what was hitting and where.
I would love a little piece of Osage Orange, thank you! I sent you my address!![]()
Thanks Todd, we're lucky guys! Hope the fish are biting in this heat?Right back at ya! What a beautiful spear blade.![]()
Or maybe, just maybe, Bart is good at his job? Cow-whisperer?I guess the knife works. They actually followed me to the gate because they knew I was moving them to the next field.
Cake police are undoubtedly coming soon, it's on the agenda along with one world digital currency and austerity measures designed to keep the rich rich. Get your cake, and cut it, while you can! What kind of uniform do you think they'll wear? Some sort of all black SS style getup, complete with jackboots?LOL!No, they haven't introduced Cake Police just yet!

Thanks Greg! I agree that ‘waterfall’ micarta should be used more.1st rate combo there, Jeremy.I especially like the covers on that whittler. I would love to see GEC or some others use that linen micarta on some regular runs.
Stunning pair!
Superb scrimshaw work there

Jack's is on 54 north of the square and is still there:Was Jack's down in the town square by the courthouse and such? I might have a fuzzy memory, but Wallyworld opened up when I was 5 or 6, it put a lot of the small local businesses under. But it was nice to not have to order everything from Sears and Schwann's anymore. I have an oft-told story about waiting in the checkout line there with my mom, and saying very loudly (so the whole store could hear) "Mommy, look! That man's picking his nose!", and pointing. Indeed, dozens of people caught him two knuckles deepIn car on the way home, instead of a talk about not picking my nose, we had one about not embarrassing strangers... A few years later the outlet mall opened up, that quickly put my mom's clothing shop out of business and we moved to KC.
I have heard from several people today that are having a terrible Monday. One guy said he had a bull jump through and out the roof of his cattle trailer, literally. Hopefully yours and everyone else's day gets better! Thanks Greg! I agree that ‘waterfall’ micarta should be used more.
Stunning pair!
Superb scrimshaw work there
