What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Or is it a rhetorical question?
I tried, but I’m afraid that by the time I think of a witty reply, it will be Terrific Tuesday.
Crappie71 Crappie71 - A full frontal nude of your trash can would have really been great. Always, make your trash cans a prominent feature in pictures of them. Take pride in your trash!!!
How about a frontal with a bonus rear shot?

Pardon the holes, though. One of the boys thought it would be fun to shoot it.
OO Buck 3” 12ga. magnum, 18” Cylinder choke barrel, at about 80 feet.
Not amused.

This was years ago. But the old bin still gets ‘er done every Wednesday.

Was Jack's down in the town square by the courthouse and such? I might have a fuzzy memory, but Wallyworld opened up when I was 5 or 6, it put a lot of the small local businesses under. But it was nice to not have to order everything from Sears and Schwann's anymore. I have an oft-told story about waiting in the checkout line there with my mom, and saying very loudly (so the whole store could hear) "Mommy, look! That man's picking his nose!", and pointing. Indeed, dozens of people caught him two knuckles deep 🤣 In car on the way home, instead of a talk about not picking my nose, we had one about not embarrassing strangers... A few years later the outlet mall opened up, that quickly put my mom's clothing shop out of business and we moved to KC.
Osage en route, look forward to seeing what you make of it!

Thanks Todd, we're lucky guys! Hope the fish are biting in this heat?

Or maybe, just maybe, Bart is good at his job? Cow-whisperer?

Cake police are undoubtedly coming soon, it's on the agenda along with one world digital currency and austerity measures designed to keep the rich rich. Get your cake, and cut it, while you can! What kind of uniform do you think they'll wear? Some sort of all black SS style getup, complete with jackboots?

*All* of us, or mostly just ModocED?

And a finer Monday morning it is now, thanks for sharing Mr. P, and nice to have you back from "fishing". 👋. Two veryfine Primble's you've shown lately, the flat-bolstered coffin jack might be my new favorite Mr.P carry, up there with your carpenter's whittler 👍 Hope your rain comes here next.

Bonus shot for Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund , can't find the quote but I remember you asking how I carry the little PL SOB? I've the crossdraw sheath Paul made for me, which is great if I don't have to bend over too much and need to draw it a lot, and the little Northwoods Pocono pocket sheath. This little whittler is 2.0 oz so lighter than most small pocketknives, it's great to pack as a fire knife and throws better sparks than any dedicated ferro striker I've used.

Eat your cake while you can people, and make it the best Monday it can be - even if that's not very good.
Very kind of you to send the wood!
Looking forward to it.
Looks like a handy way to carry that little fixed blade🤙
Yep, Jack’s is on Hwy 54, but see my reply to Mike…
Jack's is on 54 north of the square and is still there:

They moved!

Jack’s used to be on 54 West, about 100 yards west of the 54/5 junction (the square).
I’m sure they needed more sq. feet to compete against the big chains. Their original store was not all that big.
The nylon Imperial for the cardiologist; the GEC, Camillus, and Schrade Walden since.

All normal. I needn't have packed for hospital admission.

See? It IS a good Monday!😎

A couple of stunners ! 😮

Thank you Steve ! 😊

Gun shot or not ............ yours still looks better than mine. 🤣 Mine has a huge U shaped crack on the back.

That is FANTASTIC, Bart. Wish I could photoshop my guitar into a shot of it leaning on your car!View attachment 2253818
That’s a nice one, Jeff. Just send it to me, I’ll take the picture. I may or may not send it back 😁

I toted this knife last week and lost it! What a sick feeling. Thankfully, I found it this morning. I will tote it more carefully today. Have a blessed day everyone.
That’s a beauty, Greg. Glad you didn’t lose it!
Or maybe, just maybe, Bart is good at his job? Cow-whisperer?
Haha! Probably a lot more yelling than whispering.

Another hot one today, but this slimline trapper carried easy.

That’s a good looking slim Case! 😎

I have been driving the 50 mile trip down to my parent’s house once a week to plant and tend a few tomato and lettuce plants off their back deck. Tried to make it so they can water them from the deck. They’re too old to have a garden anymore. And we always put some chairs in the open garage door and visit a bit. Dad likes to wave at the kids heading to the park district pool.

Fifty miles aint that far, so I have no excuse not to do that year round. Your dedication inspires me.

It’s great that you’re able to do that, Jeff. I’m sure they really appreciate it, too.

Good looking light colored wood on that Lambsfoot, Bob.

Cool pic! 😎

Good looking recover there!

I really wish GEC would get back to using tortoise shell acrylic again.

Fantastic pic of your stag Hartshead, Jack! 😎

Using the big amp.😃
Amp volume on 2.5, Tele volume knob rolled back, reverb and tremolo on, glorious.View attachment 2253108

Love that pic, Jeff! I need to get a new bass amp at some point. Before we moved to MN I sold my ridiculously oversized Carvin setup that I’d bought back in high school. Need to find something a bit more subdued.

I’ve been carrying this pair for the last week or so. Think I’ll probably change it up in the morning.

Thank you very much, Jack!!! :)

A very cool pairing with your very elegant Albers Lambsfoot and the USMC Utility Knife, a beast like the M-60 barrel burner!;):thumbsup:

Toting two of my favorite metal cutters today.
Many thanks my friend, that's a cool-looking pair for Metal Monday :) Hope your week got off to a good start

Thanks a lot buddy, you've shown those two off nicely :)

Carrying my 2018 Ebony Guardians Lambsfoot, and a lucky Random Tuesday pic, in the form of a Carl Schlieper Scout gifted to me many years ago by Duncan Campbellclanman Campbellclanman :) Have a good day everyone
