Feeling kind of close to my wife Vik today, because she’s a good one to have alongside when you have to face up to hard things.
So I’m going to start using the Vik Fisherman that she gave me for Christmas 40 odd years ago. It’s not worn out, I’ve always tried to take care of it, but I carried this one everyday alongside my Schrade 293Y Trapper. View attachment 2263792View attachment 2263793
It’s been six years today since our elder son passed from his injuries, so what better day to use two knives given by fellow Blade Forum folks in his honor ~ a “Better Than I Deserve” GEC Oregon Trapper, and a thoroughly perfect in every way Schrade 881Y.
