Jack, not really that much to say about it. It is pretty much a "standard" 250B Gerber Silver Knight with smooth bone in lieu of the standard cover types and some engraving on the bolster and etch on the blade. It's one of several Silver Knights I still have. I still like them a lot, just don't carry them that much anymore due to all these new production things coming along to distract my attention from them.

In most ways it is similar to the one Sarah won in my give away last Christmas except that it has a sheepsfoot secondary instead of the pen like the one Sarah has.

It's a good knife, but no better really than one with no engraving, etch or smooth bone. I like it for the smooth bone, but the limited edition status doesn't mean to much to me. It's certainly not like they pulled the bone out of a historical icon's falling down building.

Just got this back from Case today, after the second attempt to remove horizontal blade play. This time they got it right. Solid as a rock and light as a feather.
Thanks to Mary Ann and Ron for restoring my faith (which, I admit, wavered there for a bit) in the Integrity of Case and your commitment to consumers like me.:thumbup:

Still totin' my 301 after some secondary blade profile and kick adjustments. Thanks again for the idea, Jeff.

Getting ready for Debbie Harry on 'Woman's Hour' ay Jack?

I have my wee SS Case Peanut, kindly gifted to me by Uncle Andi.
This composition was in his honour....

Touché Pete! That is scarily accurate.

I like this game.

Do you find your Imco stores fuel longer than the Zippo?

It's tuff for me to say, I tend to put a couple of squirts of fluid in my zippo at least once a week, the feature I like about the Imco is how you can use it like a match

I ordered it for comparison with the 2013 BF knife when it comes. The sheepsfoot is actually quite dinky on this one with a cutting edge of 1' and 7/8ths which is a 16th less than a my case peanut. I love the notch in the pile side of the handle that assists the opening of the pen blade which is of an identical size to the one on my #68, I'm sure many of the GEC pen blades share a similarity there. Unfortunately I have to make do with an iphone camera so the pictures don't do the teal coloured jigged bone justice at all. It'll be in my pocket the rest of the day methinks.
