Hope you have a great day Jack. WaBoom and the Remington Jack make a good pair. That old man in the Remington pic looks like hes lost in time and space contemplating eternity. 🤠
Rain and lolligagging today.

Good pair and pic! 😎
Sweet pairing David.

Interesting how some horsewrights, like mine, do not have a stamp imprint.
Thank you Bob. My Cowboy Toothick with Sheep Horn doesnt have a tang stamp either. I have no idea why. 🤔 🤠
Great-looking pair David, really nice lines on your Horse Wright 😎👍
Thank you Jack. I'm liking that knife a lot more than I thought I would. 😁

Thanks David....fortunately Dave's style is unique and easy to recognize. So a lack of stamp is not too upsetting.

Very nice.
Are Schrader Walden and Schrader NY the same?
The shields look the same to me.
Thank you
Yes, same Schrade, but a long complicated history. In the late 1800s, Geo Schrade contracted with Walden Knife Co to make one of his designs. Then, a century+ of mergers, and selling/acquisitions…
I think there were two different eras where they were stamped Schrade Walden, as well as Scrade Cut Co, and just Schrade.
Thanks for the further explain, makes me understand more, you look so professional.
I searched a lot in the internet, though I haven't find any photos of mushroom knife from FP show same issue, but Much appreciate Amir! 🤜🤛
I am no professional, but I do look around on the internet. 🤪
I did find this interesting info about ‘shroom knives ~ https://foragerchef.com/the-best-mushroom-knives/
I have to chuckle when I read about a knives battening capabilities, I have used this to disconnect a power supply through 10mm sq armoured cable. It wasnt easy and I had to use a 3lb sledge hammer to beat it through,View attachment 2316371 but it did it.
Yeah the Bushcrafter folks do like to whack the spine of their blade when a hatchet would be more…prudent🫣

At least you were working. But next time, try not to whack the handle. 😂
No worries ~ a little duct tape will fix it!

If it leaks, do like that Phil guy on teevee, and cover it with Flex Seal®️!

Another foggy start to the day in the City by the Bay! The white house down the street was gutted and remodeled and has been staged and up for sale. Asking price is 1.8 million. If it goes for that it will only increase my property value. 49rs play this morning 🤞. Keeping me company today is the Modoc Special and Sundays fancy lamb.
End of the day in the City by the Bay 😀

Thank you. I have a small Schrade Walden I picked up a few years back at a flea market in York Pa.

I don't know why otherwise intellegent(?) "people" (or "humans"?) "think" putting on a parachute, or attaching a bunch of bungie cords to their ankles, and jumping off the bridge is a "good" idea. 🙄🤣

The spot Eval Knieval (dum azz ...) attempted (he failed 🙄) to jump the Snake River canyon in 1974, is seen under the arch.
(yes. the Snake River is currently considerably narrower. About 1/2 as wide, last I saw at this point in the canyon.)

Parachutes and bungee cords seem relatively sane compared to strapping yourself to a homemade rocket and pulling the trigger 🚀🤪

IMHO, it would REALLY suck to be taking a shower at a truck stop, have your laundry in the washer while taking the shower ... JUST lathering the shampoo ... to have the fire alarm and lights go off ... Especially during the cold winter months in the mid-west and mountain states when there is white stuff on the ground ... with inches more an hour falling.
I "lucked out". None of the truckstops I was visiting burned down when I was in the shower after parking the truck for no less than 10 hours 5 minutes to reset my daily drive clock. 😁👍 (the minutes over 10 hours was a "safety" measure to make sure I got a full 10 hour reset. 9 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds did NOT "count" as 10 hours, resetting the 24 hour clock. Electronic logs. No way to cheat on the times.

The trucker's version of a baker's dozen. "Trucker's 24"

IIRC Flying J merged/got bought out by Pilot a few years ago.
Thanks Jack. “Souper” well played! 🤣

Cool video Mike. 😎👍
Thanks Todd :)
Good to see you posting more
