What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Beautiful mill Will. You are correct, one cannot beat the freshness and flavor.
I hate to disappoint but I use an electric burr mill.
I might have to search for a manual mill.
Bob
Thanks Bob. Now it's my turn to disappoint ;) The old mill came with the country house only used when there was a power cut and had to make jug coffee :D Had a very fancy burr mill but found it annoying to clean out and bit bulky so it stays in a cupboard, I use a simple electric grinder but I do relish the freshness- less work than that old mill too:D

I had an electric "mill". Noise levels out of this world. Several years back, my wife bought me a manual mill and I have not looked back. Best way for weekend coffe

IIRC Flying J merged/got bought out by Pilot a few years ago.
"Sister" companies. They always been one-in-the-same.
TA is also Petro.

I think Loves is still "independent". I heard they have a second "brand" but I forget what it is.
The fuel sold at FJ/Pilot, Loves, TA/Petro all comes from the same refineries, of course. I've seen Pilot and Flying J fuel trucks offloading at TA/Petro and Loves, over the years. 🙄
Of course the Phillips 66/Gulf/DX/Sunoco/Texaco/etal gas stations and "unbranded" convenience stores get their fuel from the same refineries. My paternal unclehad a 66 station. Not all his fuel deliveries had "Phillips 66" on the trailer or tractor. Sometimes the fuel brand name on the tractor was different from what was on the trailer.
A great uncle had a DX station. I saw Sunoco drop fuel hat his place more than once. (I lived next door to his 4 bay service station in Junior High and High School) Who knows what "brand" fuel they were actually getting?
There MIGHT be different additives in the different "brands", but I doubt it, to be honest.

I forget the name of the refinery in Wichita, KS, when I was there in the 1990's.
I know it supplied the gas and diesel sold at all the service stations, truck stops, and convenience stores ... and probably all the marinas, in at least a 600 or 700 mile (1day's tanker truck's travel) radius. 🙄

& some of the gardening yesterday. Set up my possum defense, bells rattle if you move the plants, we shall see if it works. The birds don't seem to keen on the swaying bells.
