Here are my three.
View attachment 2321259The two on the right are used and carried, and sport patina. The one one the left, even though it’s from pre-1950, was never used or sharpened, and being highly polished, could be mistaken for ss.
But looking at the the spine, there is some peppering, aka: corrosion caused by off gassing of it’s nitrocellulose scales. I think that rules out stainless?

I suppose, being much newer, there’s a possibility yours was made during the Camillus End Times, and that could explain the mixing of types of steel. Any evidence that it had been taken apart? Like by someone replacing blade(s) or a spring?
Anyhow, it’s an interesting piece of Camillus history, and a super fine knife in the hand. I hope it serves you well!
