Not anyone in a coffee house knows what good coffee is. Some of the best coffee I have had came from a small cafe in Minnesota. Not sure what the blend was but it was awesomeThe problem I believe, stems from everyone drowning their coffee in phony flavors. Hence, they don't need to make great coffee....no one knows what good coffee is anymore.![]()
Beautiful Case Gary.Case Knife this week is a brown sawcut Barlow that I actually bought in person at a hardware store:

Colonial/Imperial/Schrade Knife this week is a skinny Colonial jack with fake stag covers (thanks, Mark):

R8shell - a variation on this:Haha!
My family is from Pennsylvania, and Texans call anything to the north and east "yankee".
It's funny that Yankee really means Connecticut, but the farther you are from there, the bigger the region is, until all Americans were called "yanks". That probably didn't sit well with boys from Dixie.![]()
Lemme guess…#68? I can vouch it’s from the mid to late 1940’s.
Thank you for the compliment on my pocket knives, and yes, Mr. Kaman was a genius. The “Lyrachord” back, in this case, a shallow bowl, draws a lot of hate from the guitar purists, but oh well.Aircraft engineering in a guitar. Charlie Kaman engineered a really nice acoustic for amplification.
And it's neat to see those two beautiful knives.
Thanks, my friend, but at this point, they are being kind for taking veggies off my hands. It’s less for me to can. What a box of kindness and cutlery Jeff.
I imagine it is nice to change up instruments and bring in a new sound. Hope everyone appreciates your efforts.![]()
Really great knife, Nizhoni.Like to carry this one on Sunday:
Queen Barlow with the big Q tang stamp, steel liners and bolsters, spear point with some pocket worn not-so sawcut bone handles!
A no nonsense knife.
(though it seems like someone forgot where the pins went lol)

A pair of aces from Charlie to celebrate his birthday! A Barlow and a Lambsfoot always makes for an outstanding couple!
