What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The problem I believe, stems from everyone drowning their coffee in phony flavors. Hence, they don't need to make great coffee....no one knows what good coffee is anymore.☹️
Not anyone in a coffee house knows what good coffee is. Some of the best coffee I have had came from a small cafe in Minnesota. Not sure what the blend was but it was awesome

At work.

Haha!
My family is from Pennsylvania, and Texans call anything to the north and east "yankee".
It's funny that Yankee really means Connecticut, but the farther you are from there, the bigger the region is, until all Americans were called "yanks". That probably didn't sit well with boys from Dixie. 🤣
R8shell - a variation on this:

‘To a foreigner, a Yankee is an American;
To an American, Yankee is a northerner;
To a northerner, a Yankee is a New Englander;
And to a New Englander, a Yankee is a Vermonter who eats pie for breakfast.’

Lemme guess…#68? I can vouch it’s from the mid to late 1940’s.

Aircraft engineering in a guitar. Charlie Kaman engineered a really nice acoustic for amplification.

And it's neat to see those two beautiful knives.
Thank you for the compliment on my pocket knives, and yes, Mr. Kaman was a genius. The “Lyrachord” back, in this case, a shallow bowl, draws a lot of hate from the guitar purists, but oh well.
The fibreglass bowl back is what gets their undies in a bunch, but it’s the built in pickups and preamp that make it work so well plugged in. That and the neck.

What a box of kindness and cutlery Jeff.

I imagine it is nice to change up instruments and bring in a new sound. Hope everyone appreciates your efforts.👌
Thanks, my friend, but at this point, they are being kind for taking veggies off my hands. It’s less for me to can.😬

They are very kind and complimentary, yes.
And I am appreciating playing with other people with talent after 20+ years of playing in church mostly solo.
One thing that is a real pleasure is having two guys up in the booth who really know what they’re doing. I have a guitarist’s typical mistrust of someone who has the power to turn me down, but I’ve learned to trust his judgement, and he’s learned to let me play😎

Fine Sunday this was today . Got a much needed 1.3 " of rain last night and this morning , then it turned sunny and the turkeys came .

I then decided to carry these 2 .
A fixed blade that was gifted by sunknife sunknife and a Northfield 782117 serial #70 . The 78 was an SFO by one of the GEC dealers that was at the 2018 Rendezvous and I was able to buy the last one of the 98 that were made in 2017 and released in 2018 . I maybe have carried it but never used it . The covers are Tortoise Shell acrylic .

Today’s trip was planned. Back up in the mountains with a buddy just checking out some country and hoping to find a grouse or three. We found three but his old single shot 16 gauge wasn’t up to the challenge…or maybe it was him 🤔
Was treated to a spectacular sunrise as I stood outside waiting for him to arrive. Took a Remington and a Victorinox with me today.IMG_0340.jpegIMG_0350.jpegIMG_0346.jpegIMG_0355.jpegIMG_0352.jpegIMG_0354.jpeg
