Two + inches of rain yesterday, and the land is happy. The grass is soft under my moccasins, and everything in the garden is dripping with dew.6626F9DC-A5CC-4366-BF00-748855FBD870.jpeg
Harry thought I’d like this old Barlow, so he made me take it for keeps.
He’s a nice man.
Lots of times when I tote an antique with really nice bone, I’ll use a slip from JohnDF JohnDF to keep from cracking it. But this old girl is built pretty sturdy. 666572BD-0FDA-48EE-A127-A4657CA9BB77.jpeg

So glad you are finding the Kaboom useful Jack. I kept my steady hand away from that one.😁

Not to say others should not.😉
Definitely my friend :) Thanks for a very thoughtful gift :)
A walk on the beach is on hold....rain all morning. These were to be my friends today.

Your deck is a wildlife magnet and showcase for some very decent knives  But I think that could be his son, seems to have a 'cap' starting on his head ? A fine descendant whatever, Sparrows are such cheerful little birds, irrepressible.

Thanks, Will

Thank you for the compliment Will, I appreciate it. I’m happy I can share with you a bonus bit of enjoyment, along with my small rotation of Traditionals.

Carrying this Fox Recoil Gunstock, a surprise gift from JohnDF JohnDF awhile back. We're taking a trip to Italy in October, I think I'll take this one along. It'll be a homecoming for the Italian made M390 knife, and our third trip there.

It seems my wife caught a pic of our visitor yesterday, and finally shared it with me. Taken through a sunroom window.
