Two + inches of rain yesterday, and the land is happy. The grass is soft under my moccasins, and everything in the garden is dripping with dew.
Harry thought I’d like this old Barlow, so he made me take it for keeps.
He’s a nice man.
Lots of times when I tote an antique with really nice bone, I’ll use a slip from JohnDF to keep from cracking it. But this old girl is built pretty sturdy.

Nothin’s happened yet, but I have enough knives in case it does.

Carrying this Fox Recoil Gunstock, a surprise gift from JohnDF awhile back. We're taking a trip to Italy in October, I think I'll take this one along. It'll be a homecoming for the Italian made M390 knife, and our third trip there.
