One of my newest acquisitions and has quickly become one of my favorite knives to carry. Basically only carried single blade knives habitually but this one made me appreciate secondaries. Recently tried a forced patina with some vinegar... not sure if I love it or hate it. Either way I love the knife. I wonder if GEC will put out another run of these 78's so I can snag a backup. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Check out some of my guitar forums ~ the issue of forcing a patina on guitars (aka: “Relicing”) is hilariously contentious. I beat up the guitars by playing them, and having “incidents”…
This is my home built Tele. This is one readon I quit totin knives with pocket clips.42C7C15D-8704-4FE2-8EEF-0657CBD43786.jpegB0869C0D-4BEA-435B-9AD1-C45ECC389E9D.jpegAnd recently, I bumped my music stand on which I’d set some effect pedals…52C12B9A-00AD-4E89-9B18-7B0A6D357319.jpeg

What amp do you plug it into?

That’s a valuabke and highly collectible instrument.🤙

321Bandaid 321Bandaid , I really like that Uncle Henry. It has a classic look.
Nice Trapper, Greg!

Thanks. Everything about those scales is first rate. I ordered them to see if they were acceptable with the plan of picking up a few if they were. The gentleman quit producing them before I could place a second order. So I'm happy to have the one pair.
Aaaand answered!
Oh dear,I bought a Buck 112 when I was supposed to sell all my knives that aren't UK friendly and not buy more. 🤭

I had forgotten what tough beasts these are.

Concealed means cincealwd😉

Cool start to what’s going to be a warm day. I have my White Owl (a favorite) and a very cool TL-29 that Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund sent me. What a nice surprise, thanks Jeff! 😎👍View attachment 2331375
Aah there’s that fire photo👌

The TL-29 will do things that you shouldn’t try with your pretty knives!😗

No time for a yarn today. We're staying home but with the temps dropping and snow falling about two thousand feet above our elevation, it's time to button up the house, shop, and shed for the upcoming winter. I'm totin this two-blade Buck 301 with black burlap micarta covers today. Sausage and eggs up for breakfast.

I'm not surprised there are people who get all tied up in a knot over keeping their guitars nice and pristine but I always thought beat up guitars look way cooler. I personally like when my things, not just knives, look "well loved." This telecaster is beaut!

Usually I let my knives patina naturally but I wanted to give the forced patina thing a try. The more I look at the knife after having done it, the more I like it. I think I'll keep it this way for a while!
