Camping for the weekend. BPS stays at the site for food and wood. Lamb because you shouldn't leave home without it. Boker as my pocket knife and the Blasted Hill because I wanted to give it a good run.
Definitely don't need all four but what would be the fun without?

Hey Tyson, great to see you backFive yards of dirt in the driveway. Half is going on the yard, then a double layer of builders paper, then the rest of the dirt.

One of these will be in my pocket, one on my belt.

My love/hate affair with the Sodbuster Jr. continues. Most of the centering problems and backspring gaps have been reduced (but not eliminated) with a ton of cleaning and a bit of judicious crinking, twisting, squeezing, etc. The terrible edge was cleaned up a bit, and will get better with each resharpening. The shield, which fell out only a few weeks into owning it, has been epoxied back into place. Etc. Etc.
The build quality of this knife is just nowhere close to any of my other new (2021 or later) Cases - the other ones have all been excellent. Unfortunately, this dumb Sodbuster is just about perfect in terms of design (and looks, if you don't look too close at all the screwed up details). So I've probably carried more than anything else since I got it. Like I said, it's a love/hate thing. One of these, but made as well as any of my other Cases, would be darn near the Ultimate Pocket Knife.
That’s exactly why it will always be within arm’s length!Aah there’s that fire photo
The TL-29 will do things that you shouldn’t try with your pretty knives!![]()
Thanks, I wish it was mine. I’m just babysitting it for a friend who’s out of the country and he didn’t want to leave it in his apartment which is in a questionable neighborhood.Awesome! Thanks for showung it!
What amp do you plug it into?
That’s a valuabke and highly collectible instrument.![]()
I'm not surprised there are people who get all tied up in a knot over keeping their guitars nice and pristine but I always thought beat up guitars look way cooler. I personally like when my things, not just knives, look "well loved." This telecaster is beaut!
Usually I let my knives patina naturally but I wanted to give the forced patina thing a try. The more I look at the knife after having done it, the more I like it. I think I'll keep it this way for a while!

That's a good-looking stockman, sir, with handsome wood and the tip of the sheepsfoot blade between the liners (IMHO, where it belongs)!
Thanks, FC.Dig the Case Gary. Jealous that you got to pick a knife in person - I have only bought traditionals on the internet, ever. Kind of sad, huh?
Fantastic foto, Mike!Lambfoot today

Thanks, FC.The hardware store where I bought the Case Barlow was almost 250 miles from my house, but on the way to the place we rent for our August vacations; I was surprised my wife agreed to let me stop there after 3.5 hrs on the road. I've picked up quite a few pre-owned knives in person at gun & knife shows, flea markets, antique/pawn/consignment shops, but it's tough to find brick&mortar stores near me that carry new traditional knives. (I've bought some Chinese Bucks, including NOS "gift sets" at Walmart.)
Fantastic foto, Mike!
Awesome Albers lamb, Jack!
I've heard that someone's in the kitchen with Dinah, strummin' on the old banjo; I had no idea it was you!

It reminds me, several days late, that I missed Metal Monday this week.I think I should have posted this Victorinox Secretary, but I'll try again in a couple of days.
