Beautiful knife my friend . It would be great if you could post additional photos of it when you can .I toted this one to the truck this morning, and that's as far as it made it. I turned around took it back inside. I just couldn't stand the thoughts of losing it, etc.

Oddly enough, I remember the exact day I saw this knife for sale on a particular website (not sure if I can mention it) many years ago and absolutely falling in love with it. Listed in the details was "Made by Great Eastern Cutlery". I had no clue who GEC was, no clue about knives in general, and I certainly didn't have enough extra cash to buy it back then.
Long story short, I've been at this (knives) for 3-4 months now and things just came full circle. I never thought I'd have the chance to own one of these.
Wish I had a cooler picture for ya, but I "toted" an empty pocket to work today.
Lovely bone !![]()

After a day like yesterday, I definitely found a “soda”. A Sierra Nevada IPA of some sort. Thanks, the pliers are fencing pliers. They’re made for pulling and cutting barbed wire, putting on wire clips, and pounding fence staples into wood posts. Moore Maker makes good ones. My son got his cast off today but didn’t skate. He was hitting baseballs off a tee in the backyard when I got home, then we played catch. I love that his doctor told him he could skate as long as he does tricks that he won’t fall doing. I imagine he’ll skate tomorrow. It’s been lonely skating by myself.Hope you find that soda you're scouting for today Bart! What flavor? Nice pair of pliers as well. Are those for getting a grip and pulling on rope/cable/fence wire? Is the boy back to skate or die mode yet?
You look dapper, I'd never have guessed you're hiding 5 pounds of steel in that outfit! Bowtie was a solid choice.
Dan I hope your hernia resolves itself quickly and without pain. I know I wouldn't want an outie.

My regular pocketfriend for Tuesday.
Thanks Harry. Yes, it’s a fence stretcher. More frustrating day than tough. We were preg checking and vaccinating some cattle and a few heifers balled up in the corner of the holding field after they came out of the chute and ended up busting through the fence into another field. Rather than trying to bring back a few crazy heifers, we ended up pushing all the cattle into that field just to get everything together. Then had to fix the fence in the two places they went through.Great looking knife , barbed wire , fencing pliers , and what appears to be a fence stretcher makes for a pretty tough day I expect .
