What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My wife had surgery to replace her right knee on Monday, so I've spent a lot of time in the hospital Monday and Tuesday, and then things really got busy for me as caregiver once she came home Tuesday evening. So I haven't posted any of my knives for this week in this thread yet. I'll just list a bunch of them now while she's napping.
Two canoes for this week, a Buck stag canoe and a Rough Rider amber jigged bone canoe almost identical to the one I carried last week, except this week's RR canoe has a lock on the spearpoint blade.

SAK of the Week is a Victorinox Alox Secretary (thanks, Ken):

Stockman of the Week is an Imperial Ireland model with stainless blades, nylon covers, and no liners (thanks, Dave):

Stag/Horn Knife of the Week is a stag knife from Toledo Spain:

Work Knife of the Week is a Marbles rigger's knife:

Still messing around with this Kershaw

The neighbor’s two year old daughter laid claim to the spoon. I’ll probably only charge her half price

Nothing wrong with that one! I've considered getting all of the traditionals in that series before they're gone. I have the barlow... actually two of them. One is still in the blister pack. For what it is, I can't be mad at it! 👍

Being a carver, what are your thoughts?

Overall I think it’s a fine little knife. Fit and finish is well beyond its price and I like that it is just slightly more wide than a stockman to prevent blade rub.

As a whittler, it’s fine except the clip point has the most ridiculous geometry! I sharpened it to 15 degrees per side and look at how high the bevel is! I don’t have calipers but I feel certain it was a gillion inches BTE!

If you like it, I like it! Think I'll order the others. I've pondered over them for a long, long time. Based on the one I have, it seemed to be a heckuva "bang for the buck". Now, I'll just have to learn how to sharpen. Do you free-hand or use a sharpening system (assuming a system of sorts)? Again, if it works for you, it'll work for me! 👍🏻

It is a fine little knife but again, that clip point needs to be reprofiled! I use guided, semi guided, and freehand sharpening methods. For a beginner I don’t think you can go wrong with a Spyderco Sharpmaker. It’s a semi guided system, it won’t break the bank, and it won’t take long to warm up to.
