That is a sweet swell belly Jim.
Nothing wrong with that one! I've considered getting all of the traditionals in that series before they're gone. I have the barlow... actually two of them. One is still in the blister pack. For what it is, I can't be mad at it!Still messing around with this Kershaw
The neighbor’s two year old daughter laid claim to the spoon. I’ll probably only charge her half price

Overall I think it’s a fine little knife. Fit and finish is well beyond its price and I like that it is just slightly more wide than a stockman to prevent blade rub.Nothing wrong with that one! Being a carver, what are your thoughts?
Many thanks, Bob.That is a sweet swell belly Jim.![]()
If you like it, I like it! Think I'll order the others. I've pondered over them for a long, long time. Based on the one I have, it seemed to be a heckuva "bang for the buck". Now, I'll just have to learn how to sharpen. Do you free-hand or use a sharpening system (assuming a system of sorts)? Again, if it works for you, it'll work for me!Overall I think it’s a fine little knife. As a whittler, it’s fine except the clip point has the most ridiculous geometry! I sharpened it to 15 degrees per side and look at how high the bevel is! I don’t have calipers but I feel certain it was a gillion inches BTE!

Thank you buddy!Nice Trifecta David. I like the subtle tones on your Albers.![]()
Thank you kindly!Your combos always look like they're just waiting to get some work done! Good stuff.![]()
I can see why. Beautiful knife.
It is a fine little knife but again, that clip point needs to be reprofiled! I use guided, semi guided, and freehand sharpening methods. For a beginner I don’t think you can go wrong with a Spyderco Sharpmaker. It’s a semi guided system, it won’t break the bank, and it won’t take long to warm up to.If you like it, I like it!
