In route! It is a fine little knife but again, that clip point needs to be reprofiled! I use guided, semi guided, and freehand sharpening methods. For a beginner I don’t think you can go wrong with a Spyderco Sharpmaker. It’s a semi guided system, it won’t break the bank, and it won’t take long to warm up to.
Nice photo of some nice knives but that Horsehead Puukko stands out to me !!!!!Today: Buck 112 Drop Point Brass Bolsters, Case Mini-Copperlock Old Red Jigged Bone, Jarvenpaa Horsehead Mini-Puukko w/ sheath.

Your two beauties from both sides of to pond make a great looking team!Planning to carry these later after pre-op CAT scan on hip...more trouble than the operation.![]()
Really nice pair of knives, Bob, but more importantly, good luck with the surgery.Planning to carry these later after pre-op CAT scan on hip...more trouble than the operation.View attachment 2335910
Thanks. He’s a pretty active kid so the cast was rough. He’s still frustrated because he was hoping it would be back to normal when the cast came off but it still hurts.Nice soda you found.
Glad your son is back to normal. Had to be tough on him and you.
Glad the fence repairs worked out. I recall fence repairs. Where I repaired them, there was always concern with eastern diamondback rattlesnakes. The cows always busted the fence where the grass and briars were the thickest. Good times.
I’m pretty sure Moore Maker is still putting their name on knives but I’ve never had one. I think the older ones were nicer than the current ones.I think Moore Maker had their name on some knives at some point? You could get matchy. Glad the cast is off (always when summer is over!) and that advice from doc is good. I don't tricks where I might fall - like skatingI hope my kid decides bicycling is fun when he's older, cuz' like your saying you get attached to the little boogers
Thanks for noticing awesomeness of the Eureka, it brightens every Tuesday for me and is still my favorite GEC.
Nice!
Thank you JJ.Thanks a lot, Bob!!!

Perfect pair Steve
I hope she's recovering well GaryMy wife had surgery to replace her right knee on Monday, so I've spent a lot of time in the hospital Monday and Tuesday, and then things really got busy for me as caregiver once she came home Tuesday evening. So I haven't posted any of my knives for this week in this thread yet. I'll just list a bunch of them now while she's napping.
Two canoes for this week, a Buck stag canoe and a Rough Rider amber jigged bone canoe almost identical to the one I carried last week, except this week's RR canoe has a lock on the spearpoint blade.
