What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It is a fine little knife but again, that clip point needs to be reprofiled! I use guided, semi guided, and freehand sharpening methods. For a beginner I don’t think you can go wrong with a Spyderco Sharpmaker. It’s a semi guided system, it won’t break the bank, and it won’t take long to warm up to.
In route! 👍🏻

A spectacular pairing there my friend :)
Thank you very kindly, Jack!!! :)
Carrying my 2018 Guardians Lambsfoot, and an IXL Serpentine Jack

A couple of great looking gents from Sheffield for your Wednesday slicing activities; it looks like the IXL is wearing some French Ivory, too!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Planning to carry these later after pre-op CAT scan on hip...more trouble than the operation.View attachment 2335910
Really nice pair of knives, Bob, but more importantly, good luck with the surgery.
Nice soda you found.
Glad your son is back to normal. Had to be tough on him and you.
Glad the fence repairs worked out. I recall fence repairs. Where I repaired them, there was always concern with eastern diamondback rattlesnakes. The cows always busted the fence where the grass and briars were the thickest. Good times.
Thanks. He’s a pretty active kid so the cast was rough. He’s still frustrated because he was hoping it would be back to normal when the cast came off but it still hurts.
Fixing fence is never fun, luckily we don’t have too many rattle snakes to worry about where we run the cattle.
I think Moore Maker had their name on some knives at some point? You could get matchy. Glad the cast is off (always when summer is over!) and that advice from doc is good. I don't tricks where I might fall - like skating 🤣 I hope my kid decides bicycling is fun when he's older, cuz' like your saying you get attached to the little boogers ;)
Thanks for noticing awesomeness of the Eureka, it brightens every Tuesday for me and is still my favorite GEC.
I’m pretty sure Moore Maker is still putting their name on knives but I’ve never had one. I think the older ones were nicer than the current ones.
I hope your kid enjoys biking also. It sure is fun when they share your interests.

One I ain't toted in a while.
Offshore (BTI) Old Timer 858OTB Lumberjack Stockman with 9CR18MoV blades(supposedly "440C Equivelent") and saw cut bovine bone fake delrin covers.
It is joining the Toferner Calti Pocket/Neck knife (not shown. I showed it too many times, I fear) in my RFP.

I think I'll tote this for at least the remainder of the month.
The SAK Mini Champ, Evo Grip 14 and Hercules remain on my belt.

Perfect pair Steve 😎👍
My wife had surgery to replace her right knee on Monday, so I've spent a lot of time in the hospital Monday and Tuesday, and then things really got busy for me as caregiver once she came home Tuesday evening. So I haven't posted any of my knives for this week in this thread yet. I'll just list a bunch of them now while she's napping.
Two canoes for this week, a Buck stag canoe and a Rough Rider amber jigged bone canoe almost identical to the one I carried last week, except this week's RR canoe has a lock on the spearpoint blade.
