Useful pair Bob
Thanks Mr P, I have barely had the energy to get to the bathroom these past 24 hours, so photos have been a low priority
Thanks for the kind words Jeff
Great pics![]()
Great bone, and nice selection of blades.
Well, except for one shelf full of her seasonal decorations, it’s mine, all mine. But the thing is, when she tells me the washer drain is clogged, again, or I should power wash the deck, or vacuum out her car, and replace a headlighf and air up her tires, or open something I canned for supper…So you don't get to uses the garage at all, because it's all stuffed with things stored for Mrs. Fleschwund's benefit!
Nice.
Thanks, Rick!Tasty looking garden haul. The pepper looks as good as the tomatoes.
Good looking carry today.
Thanks for the coffee info.
You are a brave man.
I love to see you carrying and using whatever you feel like, my friend. It makes me feel more normal.Carried all of these today : The small Stag #55 to the dentist . The TEW Lambfoot and the Stag Pruner to trim the yard . The Grohmann to harvest tomatoes and cucumbers .

Nice photo
Fly tying has always seemed like sorcery to me!Carried this one to the tying bench this evening for a little inspiration as I prepare for cooler weather (and trout). What good is a pheasant feather without a few properly tied pheasant tail nymphs??View attachment 2337818
Really like the blades in your Winchester, Trav.
You posed your knife on a dinosaur’s eye!
Your Waynorth Lamb is sparking envy…Good morning....starting to feel like the tropics here...another day of rain.View attachment 2338026
Crap. I called you Paul? Thanks, Jeff.(I’m Barrett, but thanks all the same.)
Thanks, GT. I found it at an antique store here in MN, browsing through postcards from Arkansas. I bought it for line on the bottom of the front side:

I didn’t read the back of the postcard in the store, so the bit about not having a knife was a pleasant surprise.
Dear Audri,
We are in Texarkana, about 175 mi from Crockett. We just went over what they call the Red River, but it certainly doesn’t fit its name. We keep passing ice cold watermelon signs but we don’t have a knife.
Nora
Thanks, GT. I agree!
Cool knife. I’ve seen old Office Knives, and old Keen Kutters, but I don’t know that I’ve seen a Keen Kutter Office Knife.
Several years back, I had a lab that I had adopted/rescued fully grown (I think she was 2 or 3 when I got her). She never barked, and I mean never, not once. One day we were out walking and she spotted a turtle in the grass. She stopped and stared at it, just like your pup there, then she let out one single loud bark. First and only time I ever heard it.
Good looking knife, and those photos remind me of some ofcigarrodog Harvey’s knife pics.
The wood on that Albers… dang!
Somehow I ended up with four knives in my pocket yesterday. I’ll normally go for two. Four is a bit excessive. Probably scale it back today.

Cool knife!I had to dig out the belt holster for this one! It's an XL, IXL stockman!
4.75" and full of super sharp Sheffield blades. Normal front pocket knife for scale.

The lack of bolsters drops the weight a good bit from the Schrade IXL version. The one shown is just about the same knife but is about .125" shorter. Blade seem to be exactly the same.
I can't find it in a catalog, but would assume it comes from the same general time frame as the ixl schrade. 1980 +/- . Just an assumption. The wood used looks exactly the same as the Schrade version too.
I don't know how much I'll actually use this thing. It's more like a good hunting knife than something I'd use everyday! It will be fun to tote around today at least!
Thank you very much Jeff !!!! Yes , I do carry what ever I feel like and I have a few that I like to choose from . Don't think I have ever seen your Browning . It looks to be a pretty handy knife .Thanks, Jack! How are you today?

Nice.
Sword Brand and High Carbon both being Camillus knives, I’d like to compare my HC Cattle with your Cattle. Does yours have the “Premium” coined liners?View attachment 2338110
Thanks, Rick!
And you’re right. BobRufus1949 is either brave, or just making that up.
I love to see you carrying and using whatever you feel like, my friend. It makes me feel more normal.
Great pair, Gary.
I can’t tell for sure, but the scales on the Schrade look like the smooth elk antler I put in one of my Camillus. I like the feel, and how it ages.
Nice photo
