What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

You're welcome, Jack. :) I have no musical talent, but I like the way the internet allows me to bring music to people's lives (whether they like it or not🤓).
Me neither Gary, we should form a band! 😁👍
Jack, I hope your Covid symptoms are relatively mild and also short-lived. :(
Thank you my friend, over the worst of it now hopefully 👍
Thanks for the well-wishes for my wife, Jack & Bob & Steve. :)
She had the surgery Monday afternoon and came home about 5pm Tuesday. Tuesday night was very tough for her in terms of pain; even though the opioid pain pills were supposed to be taken 1 tablet every 4 hours, she was begging for 2 pills each time Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, arguing that she'd been getting 2 post-op tablets every 4 hours in the hospital. She had little use for my reasoned argument that if she kept taking 2 pills every 4 hours, she'd run out of her 30 prescribed tablets early Friday (yesterday). But she's doing much better now in terms of pain, and has cut back to just 0.5 pain tablet every 4 hours for the last couple of days (along with some Tylenol).
I'm sorry your wife has been in pain buddy, but glad the worst is over 👍👍

For my October carry, I've decided to return to Bunny Knife Number 291. (a 391222)

Keeping the bunny company for at least a week will be the Tom's Choice 141122 Barlow that I won by popular choice in waynorth waynorth 's Give-A-Way. (Thanks again, Charlie, and everyone who nominated me.)

These will go into my pocket around "bed tyme" (01:15 to 01:30, when I get my first of four anti - "ow" pills of the day, to assist sleeping by lowering the level of the "ow's" present in knees, hips, lower back, hands ...) on 10-01-23.

Looks outstanding and the appealing thing about Lloyd knives is while they may somewhat lack the fussy exactitude of other customs, they have character that only improves with time and use. I'd use that all day long.

Thanks, Will
I really liked this one so I snagged it. What really caught my eye was the moose bone covers and the 52100 steel.

Finally freed up the action on secondaries on my S&M Canoe. Just in time for Fall!

I'm running behind on everything today, lost an hour, daylight saving started last night.
I’ve never handled a Buck 112, hey~ I’m still young.😄 But they really got the proportions just right!

THE Browning was a gift from my Brother In Law. He’s a “knife guy”, but leans toward the modern side. I often wonder if he ever uses the traditiinals I’ve given him…
I do like this Browning ~ Kemmerer series, made in Taiwan. Big hollow ground blade really cuts. The nylon sheath rides high, which makes it less visible/threatening to carry in public, but one of these days I want to make a proper leather sheath for it. If I find some nice, heavy leather.

Thanks for the pic. I also have a 2nd HC that looks like the one on the left.

Ha! It’s like being a musician, Bob. When she asks why I need another guitar, amp, effect pedal, I just say “You knew I played guitar when you married me!”

But I’m happy to report that I got off my butt and went at it yesterday, and she was able to park in the garage last night for the first time in a month🤭

Nothing to do but look at Blade Forums, right?

Thanks for absolving my sin!
I’ve yet to coon finger the Angus Jack. Does it also have a swayback handle like the Whaler? More importantly, does it sing and ring on the snap like an old Kabar?

Swiden Key doesn’t get much love, but I think it’s a pretty elegant design. But being a ham handed oaf, I didn’t know how to disasemble/re-assemble one, and just yanked it apart, and then drilled it out.😏

But you have to go to work to be able to afford trips to the mountains!😬

It’s funny. In the guitar building rabble, they are obsessed with all black ebony for fingerboards, which is harder and harder to get. Luthier supply houses sell dye to blacken less than pure black ebony. But the ebony Wright put in your Lamb is stunning.😎

Nice. What varieties are you growing, my friend?

Can’t wait until you don’t have to buy them, right?😉

That is a gorgeous Lion Knife!
Too right. I do have some tomatoes growing on the vines about 10😊 Although it could be like last time, when the wife & daughter picked I don't think most made it inside.

Lombard today.

The last few months, I’ve been keeping a wary eyeon this basketball sized Bald Faced Hornet nest. View attachment 2339340They built it in a maple hanging over the end of the driveway. My cautious motto was I leave you alone, and you don’t sting us, ok? Kind of dumb, because these guys are territorial, and believe the best defense is a good offense. https://www.pestco.com/9-reasons-to-fear-the-bald-faced-hornet/
Ha! I still have a few mortars left over from the 4th of July. PM your address. We'll teach 'em to mind their own beesness!!! 😑
