Same here Bob, I don't want to make myself try to like a knife, I think I bought it when they kinda first came out and were all the rage.

Thanks to helpful advice on here I now know that knife is called a sleeveboard!

Also, most (but sadly not all) "prepared" folk who venure out out of the house have a pocket size shaving or signaling mirrior, (and a loud emergency whistle) on or with them in their fanny pack/man purse (or her purse if a her) or backpack, so they don't need to use their knife as a signaling mirror.

Even more importantly: An not "mirror polished" blade(s) and/or bolster(s) isn't a fingerprint and smudge magnet.
