I don’t own any Schrades (don’t judge me people, I’m new to the game!) so I celebrate Schradurday vicariously through you! Party on kind sir! Once I finish with schoolwork I plan to sit back and pluck on my Martin 000 Jr which makes a great couch cruiser!Schradurday, and first Saturday of the month, which means cooking for a group of men (and my daughter) at a local church. Feeding them biscuits ‘n gravy.
Shot taken at the end of my driveway on the way out…

Schrade 33OT that I bought new in the ‘70s, and carried alongside my yellow Trapper for decades.
And a Schrade194. Bought a package deal of two for about ten bucks. The OldTimer had a mint blade, but broken spring. The older jigged delrin 194 had a strong spring, but broken blade. My first experience with messing with a Swinden Key. Driiled it for a pin.View attachment 2347368
Got great snap, and the blade is ~close~ to being centered, but I messed up a little so that it opens a tad too far. Oh well. I like it ok anyway.View attachment 2347369

Can't get enough of that one! Superb CASE, magnificent pattern
Those are a very handsome work-knife, just right for necessary but melancholy tasks. I don't know, winter seems to have returned all too soon for my liking. Raging gales today and only 3C...soon time to change over to winter tyres on the carGot some finishing up chores to prepare for rain and snow this winter - remove the battery from the Yard tractor and put it on a trickle charger and then cover the tractor to keep the weather off and stack and secure lawn chairs, etc.. This Half Hawk should be plenty to handle what ever comes up. Hash and eggs for breakfast.
