What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The cold steel got pocket worn on the same day as I was pocket carrying my dremmel.
I wasn’t aware CS was making traditionals. Good to see! Where are they made?
Been on a fixed blade kick the last month. I don't "holster" these, just pop them in my briefcase while still in the sheath or, like today, put in a sling backpack. Great to pull out at lunch and "look them over" :) All vintage blades here

Great group of belt knives. Or briefcase knives…
What the heck Jeff ?????? Clean knives ????? Maybe it rained down by you before it did here ??
You are carrying a couple of nice ones though .

Harry
Ha! Give me time, Harry. I did use the Bunnt to separate the drumstick from the thigh on my bbq’d chucken leg quarters. Had to spit on my fingers to get the sauce and grease off the blade.

I purposely chose two of my BF knives in solidarity with all the proud new owners of this year’s knife, which we are seeing show up here!
As I told you on the phone, I took a pass this year. Although it looks very nice, I have no regrets. All of my “discretionary funds”, what little their are, have been going toward guitar gear😎
Besides, I still haven’t dirtied up these knives yet🤪
Friday Favorites out for a short walk today

Going for a walk means the recovery is progressing🤙
Walking is good for us.
Have a great weekend everyone :) Carrying a German inter-war Lambsfoot today, and a French Alpin today

The Germans nailed it! Nice knife.
I always scuff up a mirror polish with emery cloth.

We've all seen too many good men killed after being blinded by the glare off their own pocket knives.
Glare off shiny knives? I always thought it was the blinding glare off bald heads!
But they don’t appreciate having the shine scuffed off with sandpaper🫣
Beautiful knife, buddy.
Yup :)

I mean...it's been a while, but yeah I turned 21 :p

...as long as it involves pants of some kind. The whole kilt thing never really caught on over here 🤔
I hear guys with kilts can be found in libraries reading to kids…🫢
Heading to Tennessee tomorrow. The current travel pile, subject to change

What? No big belt knife???
I do like that style Wayne.
Gave my Spydies away. They left me unimpressed.
I have two ~ a vintage Boulder Co Bob Terzuola, and a Police. The Police is in my car for road trips.
But not looking for a knife fight. Nope, Huh Uh. Not me, No sir, no way.
Old Man Jack and a Schrade Cutco Boys knife

Schrade Cut. Co. Barehead Boys Knufe Jack says “who ya calling old, kid?”

Great couple of Knives, Mr. C!
It gets worse I complained about myself to myself. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I can relate. Being compelled to post photos of my garden, I often wonder if I should have done it. But I remember that if someone doesn’t like them, it’s easy to scroll past them. Same with your nice motorcycle adventure and tool photos.
Your complainer must still have dial up internet. 🫣

Got some finishing up chores to prepare for rain and snow this winter - remove the battery from the Yard tractor and put it on a trickle charger and then cover the tractor to keep the weather off and stack and secure lawn chairs, etc.. This Half Hawk should be plenty to handle what ever comes up. Hash and eggs for breakfast.

Schradurday, and first Saturday of the month, which means cooking for a group of men (and my daughter) at a local church. Feeding them biscuits ‘n gravy.
Shot taken at the end of my driveway on the way out…
91A1C4D9-2E13-4C8F-92CF-AF6A297DB053.jpeg Not a Schrade, but got my Russel Green River from sunknife sunknife for kitchen duty.
Schrade 33OT that I bought new in the ‘70s, and carried alongside my yellow Trapper for decades.
And a Schrade194. Bought a package deal of two for about ten bucks. The OldTimer had a mint blade, but broken spring. The older jigged delrin 194 had a strong spring, but broken blade. My first experience with messing with a Swinden Key. Driiled it for a pin.A275DB4E-8C0B-4C45-8051-29B430B1D49D.jpeg
Got great snap, and the blade is ~close~ to being centered, but I messed up a little so that it opens a tad too far. Oh well. I like it ok anyway.96BD67F1-D11E-4262-97A0-80BD7C9949A4.jpeg

I’ll have to do all those chores, too. But not for a month or more. 😎

It’s going to be a beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Another hot one with the temperature hitting 80 for the third day. Just got back from my weekly pilgrimage to the grocery store. Along for the ride the usual lamb and and SAK. The plan for today is to watch a little football and baseball. The Huskers finally won a game yesterday 💥‼️. Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks! 😀
