Other than the heat, sounds like a fruitful visit. The water up here requires a wetsuit now Jeff.Home sweet home from five days in Florida for a nephew’s wedding. Sure was nice seeing all the extended family. But an outdoor wedding in 90f temps wearing a suit and tie was brutal.
Then, a couple of days with our son and his family up in Vero Beach.
The last time I swam in the Atlantic Ocean was up on Long Beach Island in New Jersey, years ago. The water was much warmer in Florida. And the surf was really worked up. Anywhere from ankle deep up to waist deep, it was very difficult not getting knocked down and rolled around. Just making out a ways was not easy. Once I got out farther from the beach, I was able to time the bigger waves and do some semblance of body surfing. I’m glad no one was videoing that.
Anyway, reunited with my knife drawer.
Two Jacks, the BF, and an old Robeson. And the Green River Russel fromsunknife Greg.View attachment 2359908View attachment 2359927

We used to go to Long Beach Island every summer when I was a kid!
