What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Top flight "gentleman's sowbelly", Jeff!
Thanks, Gary, you are always SO gracious! I have Gidge in pocket right now.

i c a couple places of leeks in them tiles.
Wize to wait until fall's cooler weather to re-roof, specially if parts are tar and gravel.
Haha - I was just up on the parking garage of the children’s museum here in town about to go in and check out the haunted house and some dino bones with my little girl.
But yeah, that gas station next door needed some help.

Another trusty old friend, looks great.
Thank you, Todd. :)
Can I borrow for the next Seahawks loss? ;)
Now that’s an honest user done right. That’s on its way to be a great heirloom.
Thank you, Jon. :)
Warm and Inviting. 🤠
Good to see you here, John; you're still at the top of your game, knifewise!
Thank you, GT. :)
Nice to see you posting here again John
Thank you, Gordon. :)

Hahzabaht another big ol' sheepsfoot work knife. I couldn't pass up a cool workhorse like this and made in Australia, too! I'm not sure I've seen anything from there except Mitch's awesome new sheepsfoot.

This thing is a tank. 4.25" closed, 3" blade. 440 stainless. There's a new bald spot on my arm so it definitely took a nice edge! The wood covers were probably really nice looking when new, but they have become pretty dark. I quickly hit them with 400 and put a bit of thinned spar varnish on it just to seal them up.

Should be a fun one to throw into the pile of work knives.

That Toledo is pretty cool.

Haven't posted in a while due to a camera malfunction on my cell. I've been busy this fall and was only recently able to schedule an appointment with the genius squad to take it in for repair. Carried the Pal cattle knife and Rough Rider whittler combo for a few days this week. Threw the GEC 74 and same whittle in the pockets for todays carry.
Hope all you porch folk are doing well and enjoying the fall colors. :)

Nice pics, Greg.

Wow, great shot of the grain on your Albers, Jack! 🪵

We're gonna do a final walk-through of the property today and secure everything for the winter. The weather guy said it might snow this coming Monday so, we'll see where that goes. This Bull Nose should be all I'll need today but we all know I'll be carrying more than one. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.

Just don’t leave it on the roof of the wood shed. 😉😁

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — that Lambsfoot is just too cool. 😎

Another ridiculous gift from @Rufus1949. A wonderful K'roo Lanny's Clip that matches my lambsfoot perfectly.

Thank you so much, Bob. Next knife is on my dime !!!!! Your friendship is so important to me and this post doesn't even come close to showing my gratitude. Hope the recovery is going well today.

K'roo lamb and Lanny's today.

Great pair, Paul. I like the red accent.

Interesting activity at your place, Barrett, top to bottom. At ground level, you've got those nice buck shots. Was it a chilly morning? Looks like he might have wanted you to get some heat going in that fire pit where he's resting. And sounds like you (and your fine knife pair) came out on top regarding the roof repair!

Thanks, GT. I don’t think it was particularly cool that morning. I remember Scout and I were out on the back deck there watching the deer without our shoes on (we don’t use that back door from the walkout basement very often, and our shoes were all upstairs by the front door). I’ve kept an eye out back there since then, but haven’t spotted our friend again.

Yes, considering I had expected when we bought this house to have to replace the 20+ year old roof out of pocket at some point, I can’t complain about the roof outcome. I did complain a bit, though, because at one point the roofing contractor seemed confident he could get the whole thing covered by insurance, and that didn’t happen. 🙄😁

Bye bye Jess Horn, off to a new home,…Ouch!

Interesting pattern.

I’ve been totin’ this Albers Lambsfoot in Curly Katalox for a few days.

Well as a few of you Will know I have been trying to complete the full set of Blade forums knives . It all started with the first one I got from Brian Smith , the stag Barlow by Queen cutlery , that sparked an interest , and for the last five years I have been hunting down the rest of them . Thanks to the help of some good people and my bank balance being battered lol 😂
I have finally taken delivery today of the last 3 knives that complete the set . I think there is a couple of specials that were not actually the annual knife , that I don’t have . But was lucky enough to find an Eric’s knife. So here is the full set in all its glory 👌
God knows what I’m going to do now I have them all 🤷‍♂️😂View attachment 2365585
