Howdy, Jeff. The back quiver belongs to my wife. Although I've made several this one was made by someone else. It's functional and suits her fine for the two times a year she actually flings some arrows at a couple rendezvous we attend each summer. She does have nicer arrows than I can make, also handcrafted by a good friend of mine from wild river cane he harvested off his KY property. Her favorite bow was also made by my KY buddy, a sinew and snakeskin backed osage recurve that is beautiful.

Your Kentucky friend sounds like a helluva craftsman, Greg.
And you’ve been blessed with a pretty cool girl.
Nice photos.

Headed to town in a bit for yet another doctor's appointment. I think I'll have him check my owie while I'm there. Anyway, today is Halloween and since the traditional colors for Halloween are black and orange I'll be totin these two knives.

Mornin’, John.

Fake Pumpkin:

Pro:
~ it never rots
~ suitable for indoors
~ it’s what our wives do. It makes ‘em happy
~ punks won’t swipe and smash it
Cons:
~ can’t carve it into a Jack ‘O Lantern, and stick a candle in it
~ can’t eat it
~ doesn’t compost
~ husband has to store it somewhere until next year
