What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Yesterday's knives, to match yesterday's pants (which I'm still wearing). A late mornin' to all in Porchlandia!

We pretty much had it all last night - heavy rain, snow, high winds, and even a touch of thunder. We'd already picked up the lose stuff around the house, sheds, and shop so there's nothing to pick up this morning but I'll make a round of the place just to make sure everything is A-OK. Can't think of a better knife for the day than this CV 6231 1/2 Capped Jack. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.

🤔 I only use the SAK Hercules when I make a cuppa tea.(loose leaf, pliers to hold infuser to filter out the leaves)
No "real reason" to be 'totin it around, should just leave it at my desk .... right? ... I guess not .... it been off my belt since I begun typing this. Feel "neked" already.🤨🙄 oh well. Put it back on the SAK belt hanger again.

Almost related:
The Toferner apparently don't like the alleged and so called "watch pocket".
Keeps trying to raise itself out while I R sitting.

So, put a leather lace (really!!!! It started as an shoe lace!!!) on the sheath's loop, and have it hanging from my neck again.

As long as it’s not yesterday’s underwear you’re safe!

Your Bucs did much better than my Hawks.:thumbsdown:
Ooof… I bet that was an extra long flight back. I dare not compare this Ravens D to 2000 era but that was quite an impressive showing. Sorry friend! 😅

I carried my ettrick today pictured here on top of my Grandpa’s old fishing net.

Handsome pair Bob :)
When I opened my drawer of cigar boxes this morning, I heard the raspy voice of Jack Black Jack Black whispering in my ear “Pick that Lambsfoot, Mate”. So Taylor’s Eye Witness it is.View attachment 2381340View attachment 2381341View attachment 2381342I have not seen this spruce stump since spring before the massive clump of giant hosta and the six foot tall zinnias buried it.

I see the fungus is still there, but it doesn’t look very vibrant.
I'm glad you could hear me Jeff! 🤣
Been a while since I carried the engineer knife. Kind of got lost in the back of the knife drawer. I do like it a lot. HHB is in tote as well. Have a great day everyone.

Yeah, great knife, my friend. It looks to be in fine shape for such an old USA veteran.
Does it have steel liners?
Perfect for your job?
