Thank you John, took a full year, and a heck of a lot of work, bearing in mind how simple it looks I got burgled back in 1994. I was away on holiday at the time, and the thieves took a lot of stuff My 001 U1-4 was stolen at the works though, where it was waiting for a sheath. Not all thieves come in through the window

Good luck with that! I wish I could get hold of a 4" (U1-4), my 001 was stolen, along with my 001 6" (U1-6), and a bunch of others The variants are even rarer than the U1 I wish I had all my photos of the knives and prototypes too I do have a number of magazine articles I should dig out some time

I'd love to see the articles, Jack. I'd love to see any of the knives too. Talk about a grail!

Another beautiful but chilly start to the day in the City by the Bay! Went and saw my oral surgeon and scheduled to have some teeth removed AFTER thanksgiving! Once I’m healed up my dentist will make me a partial. Nothing special on the agenda for today. Keeping me company with a nod to Wooden Wednesday two ebony beauties.

I've got an appointment at the dentist later this morning. Very apprehensive about it. I've only got eight teeth left so cleaning them only takes a nano-second but what with all the stuff I went through with my jaw replacement a couple years back, I just don't like going. I have visions of a little devil going at it with a pickax. I'm gonna carry my large Capped Jack. No breakfast.
