Thanks Steve...hope you have a good one.A couple of beauties Bob !
Thanks, Bart! I do like the EJ. In fact, that little Wharncliffe is probably my favorite blade period. What a handy little straight edge it is. I reach for it a lot. That Eureka is looking great Gary. I think I’ll carry mine tomorrow![]()
What a fine storage cabinet holding some sweet knives Ron.Yes. I should have made it bigger. I've only got room for 26 more knives.
Great floatilla of Canoe!I usually only tote 1 or 2 knives at a time, but toted the whole collection upstairs today for a photo op. (saw a similar pro photo with props online that I liked, so I added a few props)
I lean toward canoes, so canoes and similar folders get the top shelf. The new Bladeforums knife fits in nicely with the canoes.

I'd say the big blade pull is a 7 with the small blade at 9. Neither blade has a smooth pull. No good snap on either blade. Neither blade snaps to 90° and 180°Great floatilla of Canoe!
Question:
Bottom drawer # 5 (from left) Rough Rider Stoneworx Elephant Toenail/Baby Sunfish?
What's the pull like on the baby sunfish?
I had a fancy RR baby sunfish from a different series about 12 years ago now.
Main had a pull of around a "9.9" to "10.5". The secondary's pull was a "20+" "Pliers Required after opening the Primary".
No amount of cleaning/flushing/lubing made a difference on the pulls.
I traded it off at a pawn shoppe, small town, somewhere on the east coast, for a leather flip phone case (my RR887 Smooth Tobacco Bone Outdoorsman series Sunfish fit the case) and a no name "Made in USA" Texas Jack (outgassing black celluloid covers) while waiting for dispatch to call me with a load.
Black sycamore copperlock with some fresh farm eggs from my uncle's chickens today.View attachment 2383577
Thanks JonSo good. So burly. Have a great one!
Thanks. I was worried how the pattern would be. I've never seen sycamore used before until I got this one. Definitely exceeded my expectations when I received itThat is a really good example of that sycamore. Love the even scallops in the grain.
Ha ha!... Use, don't abuse!Puhtina princesses. That’s what they really are if we are all honest with ourselves. Or at least that how I treat mine.
