Post guess and I will acknowledge with thumbs up.

I apologize now if this takes up too much space. I really don't know any other wa
Smart to stay away from year,I'm going with July 25th.

Staying with the Barlow theme 👌Sunday best Case xx 1940/64 in sawcut Appaloosa bone. The build quality on these old knives is exceptional, and puts the modern equivalent to shame …I just don’t understand how they could produce this quality back then , yet today they turn out far inferior quality knives 🤷‍♂️View attachment 2388231
There is a philosophy that proposes that everything gets worse over time - and that if you believe you see evidence of things getting better over time, then you're just looking at too small a section of the graph.

So how did that chili turn out?
Judging by the assortment of peppers you had laid out, I’m sure the capsicum level was atomic.
Yesterday, I smoked a big pork loin roast, and a beef sirloin roast, figuring we’d gnaw on that for a few days, and freeze the rest.

Now, I’m thinking I should cook up a pot of chili!
Best batch I have made in a long time. Spice level was a 8/10, but I was nervous for a while it would end up too spicy. I enjoy spicy, and this ended up being just fine.

I am always amazed at how complex and rich the flavors of the chilis turn out to be after the paste reduces in the pot. Just finished eating another bowl for lunch today. Thick, rich and hearty.

Nice 54 buddy!
Buck 301 for this soggy Sunday, been raining here all day yesterday & overcast today. @bigfish64 has the right idea, a fire sounds really nice 👍 View attachment 2388370
One of my favorite Bucks. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.🤠

In a true sign of the apocalypse, SWMBO has decided that it’s time to decorate for Christmas!?! We love Christmas and its traditions in this household, but it’s 10+ days before Thanksgiving! I did succeed in making sure the dining room stays in its Thanksgiving splendor, but I imagine that as soon as the dishes are cleared, the Christmas Village will appear!! So it goes …

Anyhoo … it felt like a Proper Sunday. The Gold Class doesn’t get out often, but the Micarta is a frequent EDCer. I love the detail on the Gold Class with the Mokume bolsters.

I’ll go with December 25 (since all I see is Christmas around me!).

I love mine, it's one of my favorite Bucks as well. It's a great size & carries well in the pocket. I've seen some of y'all post the bladeforums edition with stag scales, those are some great looking knives. I'm glad to have scored this micarta one from Buck when they did this run though 👍

39 degrees f at sunrise, about 20 degrees warmer than yesterday’s dawn temperature. Pretty pleasant in my sweats, with my first cup of coffee, and my best friend. View attachment 2388520View attachment 2388521I grow cilantro and marigolds in pots on the deck, but looks like I have an American Elm seedling in there.
The Dutch Elm Disease was killing all of the elms along our wooded fence line when we bought this place in the late ‘80s. All except one. It’s quite big, and I figure it’s got some kind of awesome genetic resistance, and it has spawned several generations of it’s miracle resistant strain.
I should plant this little guy out in my little patch of woods, and maybe I should contact the Illinois Forestry Dept to see if they want some Dutch Elm Disease resistant seeds.

Another Sunday, another worship session in the bag. Quick shot of my Case Jack, and old Cattaraugus Linesman on my home built Telecaster.
I don’t think anyone was looking🤫View attachment 2388522
That is a good temp for sweatpants. We're had a light frost this morning. Only down to 29. Winter is coming though.
Looks like Manny enjoyed the pets.
Sounds like you have a unique tree my friend.
Nice guitar, if it is acceptable to call a Telecaster a guitar

Rufus1949 Rufus1949

I've consulted with my better half & I'm going to guess March 17th....
I have deduced that Rufus is a jersey shore guy and jersey shore guys marry jersey shore gals(snookie)and when do jersey folks stay away from romancing at coney Island, the rainy fall when love happens in the home at a rabbit pace.jersey baby's are born in June.okay I lied it is my mother's birthday who passed away this fall.

Good looking pup. I like how the pair matches the color tones of your guitar 😉
