Thanks, Jack. :)
I admire your stag lambsfoot :cool::thumbsup:, but the dictionary on which it rests looks nothing like the Webster's New World Dictionary: College Edition I received from Uncle Jack and Aunt Marlene when I graduated from high school in 1969! ;)
Essential reading if you ever visit Yorkshire Gary! :D ;)

Interesting threesome, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
I've frequently walked around carrying baseball/softball bats most of my life, and never had any legal problems. Of course, I typically only carried them on my way to and from practices/games. ;)
My friend took me to a 'knife shop' in his local town. There wasn't a single traditional knife on sale, but it was like a scene from Mad Max, with every weapon on sale you could imagine. For example, there must have been over a hundred different options for pepper/CS spray, with cannister sizes up to that of a fire extinguisher (as well as grenades), and an endless quantity of batons, coshes, brass knuckles, etc! All perfectly legal to carry. However, to own a baseball bat, you have to be a member of one of Poland's small number of teams, and apply for a permit for the bat. Then you may only carry it to and from games, in a locked case!😖
Great-looking pair Mitch

Wishing everyone a good day :) SamDamLamb, and a Random Tuesday pick of this Klein Rope Knife gifted to me by r8shell r8shell :)

Thanks, Todd. :) RR's smooth tobacco bone comes in a variety of colors, and I like the rich, dark brown variation best. The brighter, sort of golden color is my second favorite. Occasionally, it will come as a weak, washed-out yellow that I don't really care for.

My school had classes on the day before Thanksgiving for many years, and I often taught a 2:30pm class in which attendance was less than ideal that day. Eventually, we didn't hold classes on that Wednesday of Thanksgiving week so all students would have a travel day. But students would just cut their Tuesday classes - can't win!o_O
No you can’t win. 😄
Very nice RRs! 😎👍
I'll bet that pair of knives really kicks out some BTUs, Todd!:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks Gary. I’ve really enjoyed carrying them for the month, but I’m starting to think about what to carry for next month. 😄👍

The most excellent Boker is in the front pocket for all normal daily chores.

Work knife of the week in the side pocket is this English made Klein. Ibberson I assume. Very well made work knife for what it is. Smooth, centered, no blade play, well done! Glad to see Klein had sourced products from somewhere other than the far east.

Glad you had a safe enjoyable trip to visit family "out East", Greg; congrats on picking out a couple of new classic Case knives in SC!:cool::thumbsup:
It's great that you found a dealer where you could check out knives in person!

Thank you, Gary. It was a enjoyable trip spending time with family as well as finding a knife store to browse while there. :)
Your RR smooth tobacco bone knives are very nice, Rough Rider does smooth bone as well as any IMO.

Today I'm pocketing another new one that I picked up on my travels, a case mini trapper in jigged brown bone. I'm not a big fan of this pattern but it could grow on me.
I really liked the bone on this one and that's what sold me the most. Also packing my GEC 56 dogleg today, one that has seen many days of solid use.
Gonna clean my shop today and maybe work on some hobby projects. Hope all you porchsters have a sunny Tuesday, even if it's bitter cold where you are like it is here. :)Case mini trapper - 1.jpegView attachment 2405812
