An early start to the day in the City by the Bay! Heading out shortly for an appointment for a bone density test. Along for the ride the usual lamb and SAK Executive. I can’t believe that I actually rooted for the Cowboys to win and vault the 49ers into first place! Have a great week folks!

Trapper, apples, peanut butter and homemade Kefir

I love peanut butter, but only the kind that says, “Ingredients: Peanuts. “
No sugar, no factory chemicals, just peanuts.
And if you’ve ever seen the price of a jug of pure peanut oil for cooking, you’ll know why the big name peanut butter factories extract the peanut oil, and put nasty tropical oils in their peanut butter.

Well..I picked up my new BF blem . Threw in one of my pockets along with a couple of others and went for a walk.

A little blurry. Must have been a tad windy when I took it without my glasses.

A nice walk in nature, with a good knife or two… that’s good livin.

But when I woke up, the nurse asked if I’d been dreaming about gardening! She said I was talking about sorting seeds.
I told the doc that my gut is healthy from eating vegetables out of my garden.

My knife of the week will be an ‘85 Case Barlow as well as the ever present SAK pioneer. Barlows draw my mind to simpler days; when a knife was a tool and were used to the fullest extent of their abilities. This one was built for work. A sturdy, bear headed jackknife with a large bolster, sawcut deleon handles and thin, satin blades. To me this encompasses a pocket knife.
