What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A guy up the road from us called last night and said they'd had a mountain lion in their back yard. It's not unusual to see one every once in awhile but usually at more distance than in the back yard. Anyway, I'm gonna tote a well-worn Buck 112 with ebony slabs on my belt today, load up a 12-gauge with double 00 buck, keep the dog inside, and have Cindy go first if we have to go outside for anything. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.

I hope you all stay safe!

The only info I can share is I know you are not supposed to turn your back on a Mountain Lion since they usually attack from behind.

I cannot figure out the Forum time stamps. So I’m not sure if it reflects the posting time at your location, or some other time zone where BF is headquartered. But wow ~ you got up right after I quit practicing and staggered to bed. I hope you have glow-in-the-dark golf balls!
Nice knives!
Hi Jeff,
The light is from an outside lantern plus a sleepless night.
My course is 40 minutes away. All these add to an early start.

Y’all have a great one.

Two fine ones Jon.👌
Two in my pocket, one on my belt.
A three bladed Klein Electrician, and for Woodnesday, my Loewenmesser and Green River. View attachment 2443620View attachment 2443621View attachment 2443622The latter two were given to me by @Old Engineer and @sunknife last year.
A bit of lore I learned while looking at old knife catalogs online last night ~ The knife companies, Schrade in this case, showed their curved blade knives in the Electrician Knives section. As a gardener, I always called that a Hawkbill or Pruner, but Schrade called it a Skinner, intended for skinning cables. And I used to roll my eyes at ebay sellers who called a Hawkbill a Skinner🤔
A trio of terrific Jeff.👍🏻

Amazing how that works Jack, needing a rest from the vacation.
