What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I admit I don't know a lot about Rosecraft blades, but they have several models that are stunning, including this one you posted.
Thank you and honestly, I didn't know much about them at all. After receiving them I was so impressed I went onto their site and learned more about them. They may be the sharpest knives I've ever received.

Carrying my 86 angus jack in these new pants with a ginormous watch pocket. You could probably fit a dang 21 bull buster in this.

Nice choices Dan :)

Thanks a lot Gary :) I only saw knives on sale in one spot, and they were garish, modern, and unsuitable for this thread!

Looks good! :D

Very nice :)

Had my German Lamb in my pocket

Very handsome handle Jack. 😎👍
Two knives I really like. These two have been with me all week.

Two beauties Jeremy…my son would appreciate that sign! 🤣

I carried the Case big stockman and Boker whittler for a few days this week. 2 knives with a total of 6 blades might seem extreme to folks who aren't knife nuts.
Today I paired it down to 2 knives and 3 blades, both Schatt & Morgan made.
The big spear blade Schatt was one of the first knives I acquired when I started on this knife collecting trek about 7-8 years ago. I don't recall what steel the blade is made from but it takes and hold a keen edge extremely well.

That camp knife gets my attention every time, perfect combination of goods looks and utility. The fixed blade knives you show here are unique and equally impressive as the camp knife. Thanks for giving us a look, friend.
Thank you for the kind words. The Camp Knife has certainly dominated my traditional carry over the last couple months. It is a large knife, but I enjoy the utility of the blades and tools.

The fixed blade that I posted today is from Tim Rowland, or Rowland Cutlery. It is a Kwaiken model that has a polished blade, but it still shows a hamon. Blade stock is almost 3/8” thick, but his grind on this is incredible, and it came to me “hair whittling” sharp. Scales are big oak and acacia, with some g10 liners. The faceted grip is pretty unique and interesting, and I think very impressive that they are so symmetrical. I would highly recommend Tim’s work, especially if looking for kitchen knives.

Is that car on a turntable?
That is posh 🎩🧐

Are the other kind of turntables common in pubs?
I always thought those were for parking your Bugatti or Lamborghini on - but a Toyota?

Don't get me wrong, I love me a Toyota - I've owned them exclusively for the past 18 years or so, but they just don't strike me as posh.

I'd feel kinda silly parking my muddy Tacoma on that little thing... 🤣
