Pleasing pair, Bob, especially that vintage stockman! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks for the additional info (and props to @Rookie82 for digging it up); amazing knife! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Couple of captivating vintage Case knives, Jeff! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
I don't remember you carrying a pair of Cases very often. ;)

That's very cool (and weird)! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Handsome Buck! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

That knife has loads of style AND substance!! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Splendid trio! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Do you not carry them because they're rare and virtually irreplaceable?

Once upon a time there was a thread here in which people posted explanations of their usernames and why they chose them. I thought it was very interesting, but I can't seem to find it.
ETA: Found it!

That's a stunning pair, Bart! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Intriguing foursome of knives, Jack! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

I sure hope you didn't have to burn that exquisite ebony to stay warm, Rob! :cool:🤓:thumbsup:

Superb pair, Todd; that "customized" Charlie Lamb is grand! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Good idea, Jeff! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
You Florida folks gotta carry some white knives for us snowbound people who are afraid of losing white knives in the snow.

Thanks for the confirmation, Jim. :)
And you're right, I'm a life-long Lions fan, although I didn't watch the game. I haven't watched a game all year, and I'm too superstitious to start watching now! :eek:o_O The Lions have been doing fine without my TV tuned to their games. (I often check the score online while the game is in progress though.🤓)

🤓:thumbsup:😁

Welcome back, Tom! :thumbsup::thumbsup::) It's good to see one of your "daily double on the rocks" photos again!

That green gatorbelly is a looker! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks for the kind words, Bob & Todd. :)

A rOOster and vOOs and a glass of bOOze are lOOking gOOd!! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
(OOs are cOOl!)

Your rosewood HHB is ravishing, Taylor! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

(Photo is over 6 years old. I think I have about 60 canoes now. :rolleyes:)

Jack, I enjoyed your double Albers, with relish! :thumbsup::cool:😁

That's an Alox model I'd like to track down someday, José! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
Did they call that model Settler?

Congrats on that pristine vintage Schrade Walden whittler! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks GT, it’s great to be back. I am enjoying trying to catch up on everything I missed (2 forum knives, yikes). Fine fleet of canoes! I have never explored that pattern, but now I have an itch to try it :)

These two on an icy Monday.

Went to the chip shop in Woodstock and then to the grounds of the palace and other places.

See the palace grounds in the walk in nature thread later.

There was only one knife up to the job that wouldnt be overawed. :cool:

Found Out the name of the cushions in church to kneel on, "Kneelers" who’d a thought It. 😁

Well, I had my trusty HHB in my pocket...

...but then a delightful package arrived from Yorkshire....

1000006137.jpg

...and now I have these two beauties from Jack Black Jack Black in my pockets - it's a sheepsfoot from A. Wright (my first non-lamb from A. Wright), and a pen knife from Wright Bros. Sheffield (my first anything from Wright Bros)...

1000006136.jpg

...so my collection of Wright-made knives is growing - two new-to-me knives, and one new-to-me brand. I need to learn more about Wright Bros.

Thanks again for your generosity, Jack! Even without the knives, this is a wonderful package. And I'm quite pleased with these knives. Thanks so much! (Dawn says thanks, too! We both already tore into the Maxon's, and we're looking forward to the Yorkshire stories.)

Micarta Monday. Are we counting Richlite as micarta? It's pretty much just very high-quality paper micarta...

Thanks kindly FC. But more important, congrats on the derby.🏆
Great combo you have working also.
Thank you Bob! The podium placement was rewarded with chocolate torte, cut with the '23 BF knife. No pic, because I try not to take knife pics during family time (that might make knife-buying more difficult, must pic battles).
Thank you Patrick, it's the only three edit*three spring* I can ever see myself carrying but it's a good one. A fine companion, no dog though. I could tell from the way yours sits that there's a good boi!
Great group F. C.!
Thanks Jon. I've noticed you seem to comment when I carry that Wayne Walker through tang... Come to the fixed side, Jon - we have knives! They cost less than comparably built slipjoints, and also come in burlap micarta ;) I always dig on your burlap Mustang, I've almost bought one twice and blamed it on you.
