;). Thanks, they are a great little knife! Nice shot of yours, I really like the color and jigging on that one!

Nice pic Fineedges! When those Eureka jacks first came out they didn't interest me in the slightest. But after seeing pics of the the smooth bone and the wood; well I may change my mind. All those curves and the smooth execution makes it look like a nice one to carry.

Here's what I'll be carrying this weekend......Nothing!
I'm going to a three day music festival. The sign stating what you can't bring in includes "weapons", so I guess that means even no traditional pocket knives:thumbdn:

They do have some really cool insulated cups at the bourbon lounge!

If I could carry something, it would have been this one.

My Queen #70 micarta sodbuster just arrived from the exchange. 15 minutes on the diamonds and in the pocket it goes!
Beautiful little knife: my only wish is that the nick was more centered on the blade. They feel a little ungainly when so far toward the tip.
It is just pinchable, so I'll work it until very smooth and forgo the nick altogether.

Your photography skills are great and you taste for truths even greater, Kris!!

This resonates with me so well:

... that which we are, we are,
made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Alfred, Lord Tennyson

Thank you kind sir! That's a small quote from ALT's poem 'Ulysses' .....,great words to live by if you ask me!

Kris,.

Received some new bone this week.

It's a Böker 'Tree Brand' Copperhead, in a 'green' washboard jigged bone.

Difficult to get both the deep, North Sea, blue/green colour to show, or indeed the jigging....in the morning light of my bedroom anyway.

Steel seems excellent. Good edge out of the box, walk is a bit rough, should get better, talk is decent.

Pleased so far. Gonna tote this for a good few days.

Have a good weekend folks.

You kept this one quiet! Nice pattern, and a great-looking knife :)

I received this Pony Jack in a trade from a very kind member here & it has been riding along in the pocket for the past couple of days to see if it can kick my Ebony,Clipped Boys Knife out of my pocket.(I received the Boys Knife from another kind member off the ex also, thanks for the great knives guys.)
This one is Gumby & Pokey approved!

My Clip blade Barlow today---unfortunately the HUMIDITY is taken its toll with little red rust spots :grumpy:

I used "Simichrome" to take of the rust spots and natural patina---coated blades with a light coat of "3 in 1 oil" and still the HUMIDITY is winning out :thumbdn:

My mom said "you boys have big pores" and its still holds true to this day :(
