Ach, tell me about it. I was prepared to admire the #79, not to love it.

Shows what I know.

Its size and weight don't bother me the way I assumed they would, and I am smitten by the glorious excess of blade--selection and size-- fitted into this compact package. Plus those long pulls....

Hoo, boy.

(Continued thanks to rockgolfer for his generosity in allowing me to borrow his knife....)

No need to mention it P, its my pleasure. I am also surprised but these things happen. What version are you leaning towards? :D

Just noticed I'm on post 2999. Might have to do something special for #3000. :)

Nice one!! i really like that.

This one for me, it seriously cuts just like a light saber. I keep #25 clip blade from boggs pristine for safe keeping.

This knife has already over-ridden so many preconceived preferences, I'm remaining open. :-)

... Long pulls are a default (not that I don't like the crescents and swedges on some of the Tidioutes I've seen). I just noticed that some of the Northfields came through with long pull mains but crescent nicks on the clip blades; I'd be disappointed if I didn't catch that in time.

So-- not stag. That's as far as I've gotten, heh, though I guess if I also prefer satin blades to gloss. Not more than I prefer Not Stag, though. I wouldn't have thought of the Ruby Red offhand, but having the knife in hand and re-viewing pictures, it does seem very right for this pattern. The bodacious jigging has a lot to do with that, but the color is also very pleasing. The wood iterations look good, too....

Guess we'll find out!

Been carrying a Case backpocket in stainless through the many days of rain. Takes to water and rain like a dog. Go out in the weather, shakes it off and goes out for more.
