Very nice, congrats !

Ashwin asked me to critique his lamb. So far, I will be telling him to practice his honing. Otherwise, not a bad knife.View attachment 2486620
I had a bright red shirt on, hence the reddish hue.😱

Lovely grain on those Bob !

Nice pair for WW !

Remington spey and a K’roo lamb.

Another Sweet pair !

I’ve got these 2 in my pockets today. I’m really loving the mini trapper! This is a new-to-me small Texas Jack that came in the mail yesterday. So far, I like it. I’m not a real fan of the cover color, but I knew that going in. I do like the shape of the pen blade- it’s not exactly “typical” compared to others I have on different patterns.
Have a great day Porchsters!!

I’m not familiar with Ashwin but the knife looks really nice, Bob. I see what you mean about the edge, otherwise nice crisp long pull, handles look comfy and the grain looks great.

He is rather new Bart. He goes by Ashwin Earl.( Amanna is his last name). The other side is worse. Other than that, a good lamb.

orry for the slow reply, my friend. No model number stamped on the knife so I went on a search through my bin of knife boxes for clues. Didn't realize I had so many Schatt & Morgan knives until I started sorting the boxes. Anyway this is what I found #1215 Tear Drop, white bone, File & Wire Series. I dyed the bone to the color it is now but included a pic
No worrries! Better late, with information, than first and loudest with zero content (which seems to be the trend in society these days). What a great pattern there, just the perfect blade shape and that one is the coveted D2, no? You improved that bone quite a bit, I am not partial to the "before" pic.
Nice little fixed blade, FC. It makes that Moran look huge!
Thank you Bart, I enjoy the small/big combos a lot. Your new Morel would make a lot of knives look pretty big as well, but your carries are so tiny it just makes everything look...normal. Congrats on the B. Krein, that is a cool knife and I love seeing Ben follow in his father's footsteps. Think how skilled me could be by middle age!! Keep those heifers in line. 🤠
A fine pair :)
Thank you Jack! Perhaps not as gentlemanly as your jigged lamb today (superb!), but then again I suspect my manners are *not* quite up to snuff so it suits me. You're feeling better, I hope?

Understandable. One of the most comfy in use, carries well ...
A great pattern.
Love how your covers are getting their "pocket worn" status naturnaly.

Since the Ka-Bar stockmans arrived 02-07-24 I put the larger 1109 into my pocket, giving the Case 10375 some time off.
Seems my 1109 is one of the stainless variations. Oh well. Still a nice knife.
Traditionals in pocket:
Ka-Bar 1109 Stockman; Remington (No "R" number, likely made by Camillus in the '90s) Canoe with Staglon covers.
Rough Rider RR887 large sunfish.
The SAK Huntsman is clipped on a SAK belt hanger.
Toferner is hung from neck.
