Great-looking pair my friend :)
Cool picture Jack !
Thanks Steve :)
Sods law Jack,
the plan has fell apart already. my personal shopper has bought oat bran instead of oat fiber. Pies are postponed until tomorrow when the correct ingredient arrives.. :(
That's frustrating :( At least the pies themselves didn't fall apart ;) I'm embarrassed to say, that it must be 25 years since I last made pork pies
Heading home today, one last window shot. This time, it’s of this lovely little Boker.
😎👍

Safe travels Todd :) I dread to think what Boker call it, but that's a sweet-looking knife buddy :)

Good Morning Porchsters,

Well after yesterdays debacle I got round to skinning and prepping the meat for my Pies, a bit of a soak in the spices wont do no harm at all. I didnt fancy the skin in the pies so with the help of form members took care of that.
I used my best kitchen knife courtesy of D Bloch D Bloch and one of my all time favourite pocket knives, a Lovely Robeson courtesy of Rufus1949 Rufus1949 . Thanks Guys!

I must say, it's very early but I could not resist, they were very tasty. :)

Glad it is working out Mitch. Enjoys those pies.👍🏻

Today and for the last 3 days, I've elected to carry this 3 inch Jack. Six years ago, when it was purchased, my preferred pocket knife size was 3.5–4". I'm glad I tuned out my personal preference for that purchase. Choosing to carry smaller cutlery for everyday life seems to be happening more often with each passing year. Things change!

Have a wonderful week Porchsters!

Have a couple of doctor appointments today. Not really all that excited to make the trek across town for these, due to the nature of the visits. Oh well, gotta have faith in the way. Packing the recruit and mini trapper. They should do just fine. It’s beautiful and cold in The Bluegrass State this morning. Gonna take my own advice and stay sharp! Have a great day, Porchers! I've run out of time, have to finish catching up later! Starting my week with my Albers Lambsfoot, and a sweet IXL Spearpoint Jack, very kindly gifted me by Johnnythefox Johnnythefox

Great start Jack. 😎👍
“Cool” photo Pat. 😎👍
Soda scout again today. Picture of it at the lake yesterday and a picture looking down at the lake today. We came back home tonight to get out of the mountains before the next storm hits.

Beautiful scenery Bart, too bad you had to leave. 😊👍

I planned to run down to the burg and pick up my accumulated mail this morning. Fortunately, before I went out and defrosted the car, I remembered the Post Office is closed today due to President's Day 🎆🎩🥳

I was just reading in the Cripple Creek thread of Bob Cargill's passing ☹️
Here's one Bob made for the American Edge Collectors Association in 1985. I believe he made a lot of SFO's. As fine a quality pocket knife as one could want 👍👍👍
