It's always nice to see that one
They certainly LOOK good!Good Morning Porchsters,
Pie update - they were not very good, the dough was very light and fluffy due to the oat fiber. I found it impossible to get the pastry thing enough for a traditional PP. I want my pastry thin and hard (like my knives) so you can just about bite into it.
Saying that, on keto and low carb you really miss bread pies and cakes, so it filled that need. Meat flavour was good although I probably over processed it and it went a bit grainy. I could not eat a full one as they were so filling. The oat fiber is remarkable stuff.
I will keep hold of the knife for the day, number 12 are huge.

They certainly LOOK good!Sorry to hear the pastry was disappointing
LOL!It turned out a bakery pastry rather than a real butchers pastry, the oat is super absorbent and the cheese pie was delicious, almost a cheese cake.
"CAKE made with CHEESE" i hear you cry.
"GARLIC..................BREAD............GARLIC,,,, BREAD"
I am in Manchester area Jack, its not abroad. LOLLOL!I know what you mean, that butcher's shortcrust is stiff and hard. I just had a thought about sending you a couple of pies, but it turns out meat products are restricted, and they probably wouldn't survive anyway
I remember when a European member sent some meat products to another poster in Yorkshire. They were delayed at Customs for 3 weeks, and weren't very nice to receive!!

I'd love to join you with the 30 day Barlow challenge, but with my CDO (That's OCD in alphabetical order) I'd have to start on the first of a month with 30 days.I decided to challenge myself to include a Barlow in my pocket each day for the next thirty days.
Day 1:
