Sounds like a great visit.Virginal Safe Queens…View attachment 2503018As I mentioned the other day, we’re enjoying 3 days of having our Granddaughters here from Georgia while their Mom attends work meetings in Milwaukee and Chicago.
The oldest leaves for Spain on her senior trip this week, so she’s not here. And being a high school senior, she’s busy with choosing college. Since my son was a combat casualty, there are some nice programs available to help make good education affordable for his girls.
But the 16 and 12 year olds are here, as well as the baby ~ a four month old delight. Although Vik flew out when she was born, this is my first chance to meet her. I did almost nothing yesterday other than carry her around, change a few diapers, and feed her with bottles ~ bonding
Only the two older ones are related by blood, being my late son’s girls, but all four are 100% our Granddaughters.
If you’ve been there, you know.
Have a great day!
Color-coordinating slip and knife! I'm impressed, Bart!
Captivating trio of Case knives, Rob, but that stag canoe takes the cake!
Cool box/book you and Eleanor created, Barrett!
(Gonna post it in the Blades and Books thread?)
Thanks for your encouragement, Tom.
Your folder is a beauty; is that a WW2 vintage "engineers knife"?
Truer words were never written!
Terrific tapered trio, and congrats on the crocuses!
I'm guessing I'm still a month away from our first crocuses.
That KeenKutter is a KnockOut!
Phenomenal photo of a sublime knife on that pebbled glass!
Congrats on the French ivory barrel knife, Dan!
I have an oak version that is trés bien.
That's some fancy whittling you've done with that knife!
This run of sawcut TCs sure look fantastic!
Thanks for your support, Paul.
Is that what Rough Ryder calls a jumbo trapper? Carbon steel blades?
The barehead cinnamon stag bone models look especially good!
Dandy dark duo, Jeff!
Lot of versatility and variety in that trio!
I admire the isosceles trapezoid shapes of the window and the "keystone" of the arch!
Great dye job on your elk antler, Greg!
Great knives and cool photo!
Somebody in your family is a lefty.
Sensational pair, Steve; interesting blade combos and heavenly handles!
Good to see you stopping by, Mark!
Nice!
I've got a 5OT, but I can see I NEED the Uncle Henry version for the Staglon!
You guys don't know how GLAD I am to find out that I'm not the only one to experience that problem! I've been living in secret shame for years!
Welcome back, Mike; glad you got your roof situation taken care of. Do you think the laundry room leaks could have been from ice dams at the edge of the roof forcing liquid back under the shingles?
How do you like your NEBO penlight? We have a larger version that's the best back yard flashlight I've ever had for taking the dog out to do his business in the dark. And it has an easy USB charger I just plug into my laptop (and I've had to recharge it far fewer times than I'd expected).

I always admire your stag HHB, Jack, but seeing it on a chocolate pedestal is unforgettable!
Phenomenal pair!
Is that a cigar stockman model, John? Maybe 63090? Really nice stockman variant!

Wooden Wednesday was a fine day for these blades and a bicycle ride. You know what's better than copper rivets? Hand hammered copper rivets!
Hope everybody had a great Wednesday?
Very classy Pat.
That’s a good day in my book.
Absolute beauty, Todd -- fantastic!
