In today's (02-21-24) A.M. Mail Call.
Added to belt in the included faux leather pouch sheath.
NO BRAND NAME anywhere on the knife, so it "can't" be a clone!!!
Just a reproduction of an old pattern ... admittedly with futuristic handle art.
Whether the blade steel is actually M390 ... I don't know ... or care.
I've wanted a Swing Blade for over 59 years. Found this ata good price, so ordered it.
The Swing Blade is an old traditional pattern/design that is pretty much forgotten and unknown these days.
Both Remington and Smith & Wesson offered one in the 1980's. They were not the first, however. I believe the design/pattern dates to at least the late 1890's or early 1900's. It may be older. Info on the design/pattern is hard to find.

Closing is in reverse.
No blade lock, however, since the handle halves are pivoing 9° from each other there is no possibility of the blade accidentally closing (or opening).
In pouch sheath:

It has been added to my belt as a long term every day EDC.

EDIT:
Looking at the frame extention, it may be a cap lifter.
Sadly, I don't have any beverages to confirm this theory. 😟

I've heard about them, never seen one. Thanks for sharing.....very unique.👍🏻

Yes, it's really pretty blue bone. You can feel the etch but it's not deep. I prefer the stamped or engraved bolsters. I think it will hold up for me fine but I always carry in a slip or fifth pocket so it won't be rubbed. Other than a poor main blade grind it is very well done. I got the purple barnboard Barlow last month and it was very well done, even had a good blade grind.

You're too late ! 🤣 ............. I already got one coming my way. Thank you for enabling me !🤣 ......................... I think. 🤔

Copy catters will be copy catters ! ;) 🤣

That belt of yours is getting heavier and heavier ! 🤣
Pretty cool piece ! 😍
maybe... if it is, I haven't noticed yet. Still lighter than my work key ring was. (over 400 keys. I had a key to every door of every business location they had, plus the broadcast shack the TV station rented space in for the transmitter in seven states and 11 shacks/antennas, all storage buildings and storage trailers in four states, plus all company vehicles including the cab-over semi. Carried those keys for over 30 years.)
At the time, I also had a full size 1911 (.45 ACP, carried cocked and locked in a small of the back holster under my jean jacket) and two loaded spare mags for it on my belt.
A couple knives don't add noticable weight, or pressure points when I'm sleeping. 😇👍
