We had successful dump yesterday. Shot the breeze with the guys on the truck and then they were off to the next dumpster. We had our front porch painted last summer and have paint left over. Since they don't allow wet paint in the dumpster, we're off to the dump to drop off about four gallons of left over, surplus paint we've accumulated over the years. Then it'll be lunch at the Wagon Wheel Cafe. This Buck 112 should make a good "go to the dump knife" so it'll go along with me.

What sort of lawn is that? Fescue?
I have no clue. All I know is it’s grass that I fertilize, put moss and weed killer on and have to mow. I like my buddies place better, not a blade of grass to be found. It’s landscaped, gravel and blacktop…leaves more time for hobbies 🍻
We had about 3" on snow on our lawn when I woke up this morning and here you are cutting grass, Jim. :) Nice backyard setting you have. I would love to live on the edge of a wooded area with a backyard fire pit instead of in town. Looks like you're set for the fire pit for awhile, enjoy the weekend.
We are supposed to get snow tomorrow. It’s weird, we seem about a month early on the trees blossoming out. I’ve never had to mow in February before. I have mowed towards the end of March before but I was protesting the entire time. I actually live in the town limits but the land behind me is out of the limits so it seems like in the country a bit more than I am.

I really like that Western fixed blade, I bet it has some stories. 😁
For today's hike with the pups -- 73 and fixed blade from Stuart Smith of South Africa...

Very nice! That’s hiking in style right there, I like it. 😁

#86 & #36 When I got home after work yesterday, I thought I had lost this Barlow.😱 After a frantic 10 minuets I drove back to work to look for it. I was relieved to find it on my desk next to a pile of apple peels right where I left it.🥴 Catastrophe adverted!
