“I hope the visit with the grandkids has been a treat for everyone, Jeff!I hope the visit with the grandkids has been a treat for everyone, Jeff!
That old red Pioneer is a beauty for sure!
Thanks, Todd.
What's that golden sleeveboard, the top knife? At first I thought it had TWO awls, but now I wonder if it has any awls at all, but two cutting blades worn down a long way.
Thanks for the additional information on the Carnival costumes.
I like that Barlow with the turkey on the bolster, José (but I don't remember seeing that one before)!
What kind of wood is used for the handles?
Superior pair of knives, Jack!
What is the background behind the Albers?
Looks like the canoe has been pressed into service as an ice/frost breaking vessel!
Although I live in Michigan, I'm not much of a fan of snow. But the snowy background really adds to that colorful Case photo!
Where did you get that Case display stand that you often use in your pics?
That's a sneaky snake, Chris!
Forewarned is forearmed, Bart!
Congrats on the ring-opener, Mike, and props to @Way-Barney for his thoughtful generosity!
Striking, Bob!
Couple of A-list knives there, Tom; your stag sowbelly looks like one of the best stockman patterns you could get!
That's an interesting advertisement, John!
I've lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the past 40 years and so far haven't come up with much info about the United Machine Tool Company. I wonder if local antique stores or estate sales would ever have old Jumbo jack knives for sale.
Checkmate!!
Thanks for your NEBO testimonials, Mike and Jack.
Before my wife brought a NEBO light home, I'd never heard of them.
Voluptuos vintage pair!
How did the golf turn out for you, Jeff? Glad your "parts" felt good enough to give it a go!
Wish I had even half of your fashion sense, Bart!
Jeff, you can highlight whatever part of a post is relevant to you and a little "Quote/Reply" option will pop up that allows you (by clicking Quote) to add only the highlighted part to your multi quotes list. It's a time and mind saver!
What's all this then???
Sumptuous stag!
Jim, you must be one of those "2 is 1, 1 is none" guys! Notable pair!
Thanks for the tang stamp photo, Tom.
Good wood grain for Wednesday!
Cherish the Churchill and the grandson, Greg!
For some reason, every time one of these striped TCs shows up, I think of the Bible story about Joseph and his coat of many colors!
I tell you true
A Buck canoe
does well for you!

Thanks JohnThat’s SCHWEETT!!

Yes, much better to be Designated Griller than Designated Grifter, which is how I first read that.Very unseasonably warm here today, it is supposed to reach the mid 70’s in February! So of course some friends and family are having a bbq, and I am the designated griller (my favorite “job”). There will be plenty of kitchen knives around but I suspect the bottle opener on this radio jack will see some duty.
