I have enjoyed your glorious ode to barlows Mr.P![]()
Thanks. It was my grandpa's, so I am confident it has a rich history. He passed away 12 years ago but my folks only recently got showed me (gave me, actually) his collection and this was one of them. Tang stamp says "Kutmaster Utica, NY, USA".I love knives with ‘stories to tell’ and broken blades have stories … probably ending in an ‘oh s$&@!’Before I saw your post I grabbed one of my ‘best’ Schrade knives for Schradurday. It’s one of my favorites even with its broken main blade.

Awesome! I need to invest in a freeze dryer at some point, I've been thinking about it. I still love seeing that big ol camp knife of yoursChickens have been working overtime. Getting 9-10 eggs a day right now. Starting to freeze dry them for later use.
2 dozen eggs freeze dried and turned into powdered eggs. Should last for 20 or so years. Equal parts powdered egg and water reconstitute for scrambled eggs. So far, it is difficult to tell the difference between fresh and powdered after cooking.
Nice grill. I have the smaller model Spirit. You won't need it for a spell, but know that eventially the burner tubes will likely rust/burn out. There's an outfit that makes burner tube replacement kits for Spirit grills. I bought one of those kits and installed it; and it was like getting a whole new grill for a whole lot less than buying a new one. Worth remembering.I used actual hand tools for most of the assembly but the Explorer got in on some of the action.
