What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Some really nice stuff in the last few pages. The Ulster teardrop jack stands out to me. I went with something very lightweight today owing to the incredible heat & stickiness (last day of it thankfully) - AG's 3.0 titanium lockback.

That's a beautiful knife.

Cutty....Thank you...They are everything that I have read and more...VERY stout knives and it will be a few years before I let my son use his one..The #23 will definitely take a finger off if you aren't careful..I like em like that!!!...............FES

Thanks, Brian. I'm much taken with it. Love the texture of the bone. My gunky photos don't show it, but the bottoms of the "furrows" have a texture to them that is just lovely to handle. I tend to use knives as "touchstones" or "worry stones" during the day. This one is just a dandy for that. And I really really like the blades.

After seeing Kevin's results over the years, had to see for myself, surgical black novaculite from Dan's. I really like it, makes a good fit between my waterstones and DMT's.

Thats an interesting looking lockback. Kind of canoe shaped. Is it an AG Russell?

Hopefully that sticky heatwave will break tomorrow!

ANDI...those are beautiful knives in every respect..I don't own one but handled Duncans before he gifted it and was most impressed......FES

FES... I got mine as a gift from Ed (ModocEd) and I was really impressed, too when I handled it and I still am. It´s just great built and the proportions really great indeed. :)

I had it in my pocket yesterday Fes, a lovely knife that I always enjoy carrying. I have a pic of it as my computer screensaver :)

Back home after my holidays. I will have to take some pictures of it, but in the meanwhile, Jared's pic will do...
