What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Primary care physician this morning. We'll see if I remember to make the switch.

I love the way the handle tapers on the Czech.

Good luck Jer  A Wharncliffe Knife handle with a Clip-Point Blade! :D :)

Out this morning with my Primble Day 3 RR Barlow plus the Western K5 and Sak Walker I carry in my pack.

Your checkered bone Barlow is cool!:cool::thumbsup:

Your lambsfoot is Always Charismatic, Steve, and that's a Churchill to be cherished!:cool::cool:

Sweet bone on the Albers, Jim, and it's great to see one of your fancy "customized" photos (however you do that)!:thumbsup:🤓

The one on the top.

(It isn't chisel ground anymore.)
IMHO, both those knives are winners, Frank!:thumbsup::cool:

5K Qs 5K Qs .. Thanks!! 🤝 Those were sold through Case dealers in the past.. Mine was gifted to me from a member on another forum..
On a side note.. They are GREAT!!!😍😍
It would be worth the effort to find one somewhere!!! ;)
John :)
Thanks for the info, John. :)
Little magnets on the display to hold the knife in place?

I just used your tip to reply to this comment! How had I never seen that pop up before?! This revolutionizes multi-quoting! You've pulled back the veil for me and I salute you! 🖖

Wear a coat with too many colors nowadays and people might start to think you're a member of a criminal organization, some kind of activist, or some other type of unsavory character 🤣 - the Technicolor Dream Knife draws slightly less attention and seems like a safer bet overall!

I tried your quote eding tip. My ifone copied the above paragraph, so I just pasted it.
But it refuses to copy the other comment.
No biggie.
Will, I'm glad you found my tip useful, and Jeff, I'm sorry you couldn't get it to work. I suppose I should have included a disclaimer that I always use my laptop (MacBook) when doing anything related to the internet, and I've never used a smartphone in my long and not-too-illustrious life, so all of my "tips" are specific to laptops (probably using Safari as a browser).

Will, I appreciate the info about the risks of multi-colored coats. I'm not much of a peacock, so my coats are usually a single earth tone.

Its from your manor then?
I wish that were true! 😁

Thanks Gary, it's a recent purchase this month, but I also don't know what wood are the handles made.👍
Congrats on your almost-new knife, José!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Not so good, Gary. We got to the course and it was so crowded we couldn't get on, so I went to a driving range to hit some balls. I over-did it and now my back's spasming again. 😩
That's too bad, Jeff. :(
I suppose there's some comfort in the similarities between your current game and that of Tiger Woods. o_O;)

I meant to post this earlier, but forgot where I was and posted it in the wrong thread
So, without further ado...I cross post :)

Doesn't get much better that a cross posted knife-on-post shot, Mike!🤓

“I hope the visit with the grandkids has been a treat for everyone, Jeff!:)
That old red Pioneer is a beauty for sure!

The visit was great, thanks!

Now, I hate to correct a compliment, but it’s a Soldier. Still ~ Thank You!
...
Glad the visit was enjoyable, Jeff.:cool::thumbsup:
Sorry about the misidentification of your Soldier; I often have trouble distinguishing those two models. Is there a foolproof way to tell which is which? Does a Soldier ALWAYS have a lanyard tube and/or shackle and the Pioneer ALWAYS have a key ring attachment?

Its a very old bone handled Primble. Worn to the tips!!
Thanks for the info; that knife has had a busy life!:thumbsup:🤓

Splendid canoe with a stout pen blade!:thumbsup::cool:

Barlow and Canoe day here.

Sweet dye job on the canoe!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

All yellow today. Stay Sharp!View attachment 2511186
That's a cheerful pair! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
I have a yellow pen knife like yours that's one of my favorites!

In the spring, a young man’s heart turns toward romance. Their Dads and Grandads turn toward watching baseball. Which is odd when there’s perfectly good Andy Griffith and Bonanza reruns on.
Apparently a young squirrel’s heart turns to love, too. Look how this young buck treerat is going all out to breed. He arranged pine cones.View attachment 2511133Back to knives.

Wish I had known the pine cone trick when I was young and "in the market"; I'm told it pays to advertise.:cool::thumbsup:
I tended to pay more attention to baseball than I should have in those days, and my line of "Wanna go play catch?" didn't really turn me into a chick magnet! 😲o_O

Dog and I traipsing around with a Day 5 Chinese Queen Barlow and the Craftsman [Western].

I have a Chinese Queen canoe with that same kind of bone handle that I think is quite nice. The bolster shape of your Barlow is splendid!:cool::cool:

That navy blue bone with the red shield is a very handsome series for Case!:thumbsup::cool:
I have a mini copperhead like that which is probably my best-looking knife.

Hope everyone had a fine weekend.

Your Black Box coffin jack is outstanding, Tom!:thumbsup::cool:

I always enjoy the grain of that lamb Steve.👌
And I always enjoy the "grain" of the Eureka Jack! 🤓:thumbsup:

Beautiful, warm day today. More like May than February. I went to the big city of Columbia, MO to order a rear tire for my motorcycle. That mission was a rather surprising failure, but I stopped at the grocery store on the way home and got some onions-amongst a couple of other things. One being a nine-year-old Lagavulin. Onions, scotch, extra sharp cheddar cheese. Breakfast of champions :)
Had the Boker Club along for the ride.

Big fan of onions and extra sharp cheddar cheese, but never tried scotch with it!🤓

Jack’s HHB and a 35 Churchill today.

Cherish the Churchill, Paul, even from a novel perspective!:cool::thumbsup:
