What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Will, I'm glad you found my tip useful, and Jeff, I'm sorry you couldn't get it to work. I suppose I should have included a disclaimer that I always use my laptop (MacBook) when doing anything related to the internet, and I've never used a smartphone in my long and not-too-illustrious life, so all of my "tips" are specific to laptops (probably using Safari as a browser).
I don't think I've ever visited BF on a computer (well, I must've when I created my account back in 2007), only my phone, and it definitely worked for me - I just did it again for this reply! 👍

similarities between your current game and that of Tiger Woods. o_O;)
Now THAT is funny! Another pic of my beloved S&M stockman. And yes, I am milking it! ;)

Shot some pool and had a cheeseburger for lunch at the Outpost 😋 Got home and discovered that my truck part had finally arrived after its tour of mysterious and unknown places 👽 Took care of that with an assist from Old Hickory 🧙‍♂️
Its been good day despite being grey and dreary

This is turning out to be a very long day at work
Love the old Ulster, Jim!
Glad the visit was enjoyable, Jeff.:cool::thumbsup:

Sorry about the misidentification of your Soldier; I often have trouble distinguishing those two models. Is there a foolproof way to tell which is which? Does a Soldier ALWAYS have a lanyard tube and/or shackle and the Pioneer ALWAYS have a key ring attachment?

Wish I had known the pine cone trick when I was young and "in the market"; I'm told it pays to advertise.:cool::thumbsup:
I tended to pay more attention to baseball than I should have in those days, and my line of "Wanna go play catch?" didn't really turn me into a chick magnet! 😲o_O

I imagine there are certain advantages to quote editing on a lap/desk top over a phone. My Mac is hopelessly obsoleted via planned obsolescence, as is my old desktop, so I am stuck with a phone.
I just deleted the stuff in your post not addressed to me.

Hey~ It’s me who should apologize. You appear to be correct on the ID of my old ELINOX. I believe it is a PIONEER.
You may find this page interesting ~

One for sure clue is that the Soldier, which was military issued, had the year it was made stamped on the tang, and mine doesn’t.
So thanks for setting me straight.

I confess that I’ve become extremely fond of this knife. And one thing that attracts me is the heavy duty construction. Unlike all of my other SAKs, the blades are thick at the tang. As thick as a G.I. TL-29.

Now Gary, “Wanna go play catch?” may
not reel in the dames in any kind of quantity, but all you need is one. And it seems to me that you may have perfected a great way to screen out the riff raff and find the quality, marriage worthy women.
Why bother with one who won’t play catch?

I did something similar, but in my case it was “Wanna go backpacking?”

I spent today at the hospital getting xrayed.
I was certain I’d broken some ribs and some bones in my elbow, but I escaped that. I am out of action for a while, though.

Just like my knife photo posting is out of action.

I am carrying a Schrade Walden 293 Trapper in brown jigged delrin, and my ELINOX Pioneer.

Glad you got no broken bones. 👍
Even for a young guy like you they can be bad news.
