What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

With some daffodils I planted 15 years ago.

The family & I have been going through some of my late grandparent's estate. My grandfather passed a little while back & as some of you know we recently lost my grandmother. (Thanks for all the support btw) In addition to the Imperial Barlow & the Queen whittler of my grandfather's I ran across this Imperial Kamp-King in his shop. Working on cleaning it up now & going to pocket it for the rest of the day👍

Bittersweet job.
I’m glad you have that knife!
Glad to hear you all are doing better! Hopefully your father is in getting better too!

Oh yeah, they are always off when I work, no matter the job. My wife is a nurse and introduced to the term "degloving" and after seeing what that means...NO THANK YOU.
Thanks!
Its a strong pull with a great snap although I don't find it to be obnoxiously so, unlike an A. Wright I have that's so stout I won't carry it. I don't want to have to work that hard every time I want to use my knife 😒
I find the pull to be on par with my Red Trout and Albers.
The Red Trout and the Albers are users. The MM's get by on their looks

Totin' the Red Trout today thanks to your inspiration

Moore Maker doesn't make any of their knives. Over the years they have had them made by Camillus, Queen, Canal Street, Bear and probably others. The Moore Maker boys knives above are Canal Streets and are of fine quality. There's a Moore Maker thread around here somewhere.

Lovely wood on that one, Jose :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Glad you're doing better, Jeff :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks, Mike!
I*XL Large Lamb and a PAL US Navy Utility

Excellent pair.
I had to go check that my PAL Navy was still in the cigar box…

IXL Lamb and a Horsewright Mestano

Nice pair buddy !

Awesome PAL U.S.N. knife! It's interesting, it looks like they put a longer nail nick on the main blade? (Or is that just me), along with an EZ open notch. Must've want to be sure people had plenty of access to open it 😉

Thanks. It seems so, biggest nail nick I've seen.

Excellent pair.

Thanks Jeff !

Another great you've got in there  I see it as more Swell Centre Penknife than Whittler though...you can see it is a kind of ancestor to the GEC 33 Conductor & 68 White Owl patterns. Perhaps not surprising as Bill Howard was working for Queen Cutlery when the BB editions were made, very worthwhile knives

Thanks, Will
