You write good!!!

Thank you!!

Cool, celebratory knife (but really creepy rabbit)!

It was on the desk of a guy I worked with. I walked up to his desk and said "Wow, what a creepy rabbit!!" He said "Do you want it?" I said "Yes, of course - for real?" He replied "Yes - please take it."

It's my creepy rabbit now. Made in Indonesia, if that adds intrigue.

I thought I would finally get the Otter 07 with carbon steel blade. The box said carbon, the blade "rostfrei". The mistake had been made at the factory. Oh well...

I settled to keep this knife and got a small compensation from Lamnia. The lock is without any play, fit and finish is fine and the wood handle looks nice. I did some light sharpening and stropping, the blade is now quite sharp, so all is well. Anyway I do quite a lot of food prep with my knives, so the stainless should work well. No biggie. It's like hippekniep (sodbuster) and Buck 110 had a relationship and this is the result :)

Rub a little tung oil in the handle and that wood comes alive.

Alan, in the interest of full disclosure, I've never actually read Atlas Shrugged (although I read The Fountainhead by the same author many decades ago). But I've been a classical mythology fan since my childhood, and have been waiting most of my life for an opportunity to use the phrase/title, and I've admired your Böker Atlas for a while, and it finally clicked.
