A foggy start to the day here in the City by the Bay! Going to roll out the R9 later to go to my dentist appointment. In the meantime keeping me company with a nod to Wooden Wednesday my Snakewood Lamb and Mr. Johnny On The Spot. Have a great day folks! 😀View attachment 2547691View attachment 2547692
Yesterday, when I said “I only remember two of us totin the Johnny On The Spot”, a little voice told me I was going to be proven wrong. But I forged ahead with it.

The National Churchill Museum is in Fulton, Missouri. Its in the Church of St. Mary, Aldermanbury which was originally built in the 12th century. It was bombed in WWII and left in ruins until it was moved stone by stone from London to Fulton Missouri. I've spent several hours in the museum and its quite excellent. Why is it located on the Westminster College campus in Fulton, Missouri you may ask? That's where Churchill gave the famous "Iron Curtain" speech in 1946.

We couldn't get a game together last Friday, and this Friday wasn't going to work either, so we're playing poker this afternoon. I will be totin' the 29 in case something needs poking :D

Fantastic piece of info thanks for that.

I had no idea about this, what a beautiful building.

I have Visited his grave and walked around Blenheim Palace its very near where I live.

He did more in any one year of his life than most people do in a lifetime.
