My carries for today. My little fixed pocket blade, and my new cheeseburger victorinox I was finally able to track one down. Doing some flower planting/gardening with the family today. I will hopefully have time to do some reading.

Gardening is more fun with a little help.
It is sowing season, so get at it😉

I look at my knives the same way. And also my cookies

So your knives need to look delicious ........ like your cookies ? 🤔
So your knives are consumable ........... like your cookies ? 🤔
So your knives and cookies need to stand up to "the chew test" ? 🤔
So your cookies need to have an amber look ............ like your knife ? 🤔
So your cookies and knives need to look used ............... until gone ?! 🤔

Your statement got me to thinkin' .......... "what does he mean"? ........... which ain't exactly a safe thing around Mr. P. ! 🤔🤣
Your knife does look critter free ..... as far as I can tell. It's harder to tell about your cookies. ;)😊

That Case Jack is really all the knife that anyone needs ............... excepting "it ain't completely always about what one needs around here".😍🤣

P.S. ............. I like the look of your cookies too !

pretty soon you’ll be bellyachin about the heat.
Except for you southern hemisphere brethren, of course.
And/or us Idahoans. 🙄

To be honest, this thing will never complain about "too warm" ... It didn't when riding its bicycle in the Las Vegas/Henderson/Lake Mead area on the days it was 125(F) ... in the shade ... 😇👍
It just drank an extra bottle or three of Gaterade (et-al) and/or gallons of tea, pots tepid coffeee ... 2 liters tepid Mountain Dew. (s'long as Mountain dew is wet and below fresh hot coffee or tea °'s, it b good. 😇👍)

It resided on 'CHEAPER THAN RENT' a 24 foot Fiberform "Cabin Cruiser" it had at the time, or its then boss' 38 foot Chris Craft Convetible Sport Fisher, on Lake Mead, before the lake dried up.
("Thanks" California! Build some desalination plants and use the Pacific Ocean to supply the water to irrigate the desert! You're unlikely to dry IT up!!! 😡)

Switched out the new old bear for the opinel just to compare/contrast for a day.

I also left my sowbelly on the dresser today, and it was hard to do... But took this awesome stockman instead that recently came from the case pass around.

The 6347 is a really great pattern and this one is dressed up very nicely!

Sorry for your loss, Zach.
My grandparents have all been gone for many years now. I think of them often, not so much with sorrow but with love and fond memories.

Condolences to you and your family. May you all find peace and comfort

I'll add my condolences as well, I'm sorry for yet another loss for you and your family.

Thanks for the condolences and kind words everyone, they mean a lot. The porch is filled with such a great group of people 👍

Anyway onto a more cheerful subject. It's a bright & beautiful day out this way, we're heading out to a farmers market to look for some new plants for the yard. We got some old comb from cleaning out a previous hive & since our niece is so infatuated with bees, the wife & I decided to frame some up for her.
I got a stag Buck, the Schrade stockman for today & added my wife's SAK for the pic 🐝 👍

Have a great weekend y'all!
